I think the problem is back. I just bought a new pixel phone but it has too many issues with wifi connectivity.

When the phone is near the router, the connectivity is like 50% and in the bedroom it goes from 100 to 50 to 0, then again 100 -> 50 -> 0 and disconnects completely.

What I have tried so far:
- latest update (7.1.1) (NMF260) (earlier it was 7.1)
- Complete erase
- Erase network settings
- safe mode
- disable router's dual mode and set it to only 2.4GHz
