I have the exact same problem. I have been using TB with my 3 google accounts, with IMAP with absolutely no problems.
A couple of days ago, I launched TB and it said that my password for one of my accounts was wrong. I checked again and again. Password is correct. I can log on with Firefox and check my mail. So my e-mail account is just fine.
I tried everything I could think of. It is obvious to me that this is a bug. Has anyone come up with a solution?
