I believe I understand what you are trying to accomplish. If you have trouble with the script or prefer a version more native to Google Spreadsheets, I don't mind helping you outside of this forum to protect your data.
Just curious, why do you record on the individual sheets and then build the summary sheet?
If this needs to be done immediately then trying to adopt the Calc version using ahab's script is probably best. If not, I think recreating the system could take an hour at the most with a little testing.
