Before you post! Please search for your answer first. If you haven’t searched for an answer, then click on “edit question” above to return to our suggestions on how to find your answers. Providing the following information will help us troubleshoot your issue:

Browser & Operating System (e.g. Firefox/Mac OSX): Chrome 14.0.835.186 m, Windows XP 5.1, SP2
Free consumer account (@gmail, @yahoo...) or Google Apps account (@yourdomain): Free Consumer @gmail
Describe the steps you took that produced this error:

For the past few days, I have noticed the following problems:
1) Google Docs site takes much longer to load (it used to load in seconds, not it takes about half a minute)
2) It ALWAYS produces the Error Message shown in the end of the post saying that an error occured on the server.
3) There are no Collections listed under My Collections (which is my actual problem). It just says: There are no collections

The collections are not actually missing, since I can search for them and find them with their documents and sub collections in place. And then miraculously each one collection I search shows up in My Collections.

No this is no way for a stable platform to work. Fusthermore I use Syncdocs to syncronize my files from my computer to Google Docs and while this kind of behavor is experineced from Google Docs, the program can't connect to Google Docs. I have purchased a 80GB storage in Google in order to back up and syncronize my Documents with it. So if there I can not trust them to be reliable on what they offer, why should I update my purchace? Even more, why should I ugrade to a paying Google Apps Customer (as I was in the process of moving my free account to a google apps account) if such problems can disrupt my day to day business?

I would like to point out that the above problems with google docs are occuring both when the SyncDocs application is running or not. I use a standard WiFi 4Mbps connection without any proxies.

I hope this problem is just a hickup from the new platfrom of Google Docs (mind you, I changed to the old view and still have the same problems), and that it will be quickly resolved.

It only remains to be seen how Google will respond (both as Customer Care Service, that is replying to let me know of their actions concerning the problem)
