Google Chrome's Download Manager is painfully slow in downloading speeds compared to other 3rd party apps like IDM and even Firefox's Default Download Manager. I have the latest stable version 19.0.1084.52 m f Chrome installed but its painfully slow at downloads a 100MB file in Firefox downloads in 15 minutes,it takes less than 15 minutes using 3rd party apps like IDM but while using chrome it takes 30 minutes. This is not the first time i'v tested it on Windows 7,Vista and XP always using the latest stable version of chrome. I think Google Chrome Developers are not seriously looking into the issue behind slow downloads in chrome. Even the download manager in Chrome is the most basic download manager i'v seen. If a download is paused and the OS is restarted the download can't be resumed and has to be restarted again. And while downloading in chrome downloads fails almost 40% times. I hope the Developers look into this issue and IMPROVE THE CHROME'S INBUILT DOWNLOAD MANAGER AND ADD FEATURES PRESENT IN THAT OF 3RD PARTY APPS LIKE IDM TO ACCELERATE DOWNLOADS AND PAUSE DOWNLOADS SO THAT THEY CAN BE RESUMED EVEN AFTER THE OS IS RESTARTED. I HOPE TO SEE THIS UPDATED IN THE NEXT UPCOMING VERSIONS. AND CHROME DEVELOPERS I GUESS YOU ARE THE BEST BROWSER MAKERS AND I HOPE YOU WILL ALSO MAKE YOUR DOWNLOAD MANAGER EVEN FASTER AND BETTER THAN IDM.
