Sorry, there is no way of doing this.

If you want to rotate it, you must do it in edit, before posting on YouTube.

Hi rewboss and Videodave2, thanks so much for your response. I used my handphone to take the video and put my handphone in a horizontal position. I am unable to edit it on my handphone, using the computer or in the YouTube video editing page. Sigh! I guess I can only take videos by holding my camera in a vertical position. Thanks a lot for responding to my question anyways.

My video is fine in my editing software but when I upload it to YouTube, it shows up sideways. Why? And how can this be fixed? There's nothing to fix in my (Kodak) editing software because the video is right-side up there. It's only sideways on YouTube.

If you used AudioSwap you are not alone. Here's a thread http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/youtube/thread?tid=0d16b63e544328ad&hl=en

Thanks but I didn't use AudioSwap and I didn't film with a phone.

hmm, so youtube won't rotate it for you like facebook does?

not very useful, and eliminates the idea of uploading straight from your phone!

It doesn't eliminate the idea of uploading at all. It merely requires users to hold their phones right side up when filming, the same as anyone else holds their camera right side up...

anmoose, not true. I held my phone rightside up but the phone resized it and decided it should be landscape instead.

Then you need to have words with your phone...
