Just a moment ago I received the fllowing e-mail:
We have disabled the following material as a result of a third-party notification from Lemmy Movie LLC claiming that this material is infringing:
Lemmy - The Movie

This is the first mail where it was stated that the material is disabled, ok, I will delete it no problem whatsoever, except I cannot log into my account to delete it, I get:
"This functionality is not available right now. Please try again later."
The copyright infringement in the case of the removed video was a trailer, for the rockumentary, which I personally uploaded to promote it, having huge respect for Lemmy and Motorhead, now if the offical company which I linked the trailer to for BUYING THE DVD from the official site, did not like that???? , I'm ok with removing it, but I cannot - repeat - log in to do so?
So please be so kind as to tell me, since my account still exists I see, how to remove this, log in, and continue in orderly fashion.
Thank you very much in advance.

Well, try again later. btw is there anything on your channel that is not copyrighted by a third party? Do you have a license to broadcast any of it? Even your background image appears to feature Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper. Have they given you permission to use their image?

There is copyright, and there is earning from copyright.
My channel features vids from indie bands, aas well as bands that do not claim copyright and also trailers, where nothing is hidden, falsely advertised,, but instead even linked to their respected owners, their official sites, and places to buy their work officially.
By the measure of a picture, from my favorite movie, and it being copyrighted, you can safely and pretty much ban 90% of people posting, as even the spray can if it is in the video, and without permission, could not be posted.
So, therefore I have deleted everything YT staff has told me to, have been granted access to my account thus consider the matter closed, having permanent strike 1 record for promoting the official trailer linking to the official owner and site, which is without comment to begin with.
Thank you for the assistance,

There is copyright, PERIOD! Here’s a quote from the U.S. Copyright Office “When is my work protected?
Your work is under copyright protection the moment it is created and fixed in a tangible form that it is perceptible either directly or with the aid of a machine or device.”
It is entirely up to the copyright owner which rights he wishes to enforce, which licenses he wishes to grant, and unless he has granted specific rights to a specific person he can change his mind AT ANY TIME. Perhaps 90% of people posting could be “banned”. We will never know how many already have.

>>"This functionality is not available right now. Please try again later."This is completely unrelated to your copyright issues.
YouTube will often disable some functions and inactive features while they perform database updates, server maintenance and other housekeeping. Everyone, including myself, was getting the "This functionality is not available right now. Please try again later" message when trying to do different things around the site.
