How do I delete a video from the "Watch later..." Playlist? Theres no X button or anything. techguy348 12/15/10 5:57 PM
Like I was on youtube today and a few days ago I accidently clicked the "Watch Later" button and it stays there forever. So do I go back to the video and find a hidden button or glitch or something?

I already fixed it, but it redirected me to the My Videos page. Youtube needs to add some code to FORCE it to the watch later page EVEN if it fails.

So how did you fix it? I'm wondering the same thing, and I've been poking around my account settings and videos and stuff but I don't see anything at all.

I have the same problem. I tried the solution in Duitslond's link but it doesn't work for me. I think it might be because the video I have trouble with is deleted from this site, so I have no way of watching it and it just stays in the list above my subscriptions with no way to remove it :/

I added a second video to the Watch Later list to see if the X came up.
It did, then I was able to delete both videos.

Adding a second video worked.  Thank you!  This would be a good feature if YouTube fixed that issue.

Add a second video to the "Watch Later" playlist and click on a video. Press on the white bar at the bottom to show the playlist. Roll your cursor over to the top right hand corner of the thumbnail of the video and there should be an X. Click on the X and the video will be deleted.

To remove a video from the playlist, first go to the youtube homepage. Then press the ''Watch Later(#)'' link. It will take you to your playlist section. From there, you can select which videos to remove. If you remove them all, the ''Watch Later(#)'' tab at your home page will go away.

I tried to remove my "watch later" link. I went to playlist and it says I have no playlist to manage. The first one's already been removed from my favorites. The second never went in favorites. I think I'd been happier not having the watch later thing at all or have it on the bottom of the screen so it's not so distracting. I'm stuck with watching something later that I don't want to watch anymore.

Hey guys,

At the moment, we have no option to remove this module.  We are working to correct this, and thanks for bringing this to our attention.

To REMOVE the video(s) from "Play Later" thing, you need to save it first as a play list. After that it will appear in "My Videos & Playlists" - easily remove the video from there.

I found the problem! As it turns out, you can't get to the "Watch Later" page unless you already have a playlist. You need to create a playlist first, and then you'll be able to get to the page.

I have a video that explains this at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7SpvS-iR7s . :)
