|My YouTube account is blocked||Abricialio||4/20/11 6:50 AM|
On 19 April 2011, my YouTube account got blocked after I noticed that I was logged out from YouTube.
When I tried to login, it didn't do anything but when I tried to look at my channel (www.youtube.com/abricialio) it said I was blocked by using Columbia Pictures Studios Inc. stuff? Well here is the story.
I uploaded a mirrored version of Battle: Los Angeles ending on YouTube, and I didn't claimed anything to my own and gave Battle: Los Angeles crew the credits. It was almost for more then three weeks on YouTube, until yesterday when my account got blocked. I worked my heart into the tears to receive more then four million views on my YouTube, many subscribers, ect.
The reason why I want to be unblocked is: The blocking confuses me. Other people have Battle: Los Angeles stuff on their YouTube for almost weeks, and they didn't got blocked. If people were allowed to upload trailers, teasers and pieces of the movie, why was I the one who lost my account for just a 2 minute movie ending?
That was my story.

Your story is a common one and is the result of a lack of understanding of copyrights, copyright law, and how YouTube does and must enforce them.
The strikes are valid, you did not get documented permission to use that property, so they will stand. There is nothing you can do to "undo" a valid copyright claim.
A short explanation of why you see infringing material elsewhere:

How do I ever get some of my video's back then?
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||JDoors||4/20/11 9:03 AM|
Valid copyright strikes are permanent. Do not upload copyrighted content unless you have documented permission to use it from the copyrights holder.

I do not want to start all over again. From the 260 video's I had, was 99% of me. This is just crap, the copyright system in YouTube should be better. I just want that YouTube removes the Battle: Los Angeles video from my channel, so I can access my account once again.

Technically you're not supposed to start over. You've been perma-banned from YouTube. ; )
It wasn't that "one" video that got your account suspended, it was at least three in total that did it. If any one of those were not valid copyright infringments then you could file a legal counter-notice, but based on your apparent understanding of the issues involved, I suspect they are valid, and thus permanent, claims.
YouTube is only doing what they must to obey the law and stay in business. If it weren't for those and other laws, anybody, could post anything, at any time. If you were an artist whose entire livelyhood was based on the sale of your artistic creations, you might have a different opinion. ; )

The third warning I received last year in April 2010 was a false alarm, and it said the warning should be removed with-in six months and it did. And the reported video of me, counted as a 4th warning. Then I am grabbing on my head, what is this kind of scam?
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||JDoors||4/20/11 10:25 AM|
Not understanding the rules does not make the rules a scam.
You repeatedly broke the rules and lost that account. What do you want to do now?
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||Abricialio||4/20/11 10:27 AM|
I want some of my video's back and re-uploading them on my existing account Peekarica, which I created two years ago.

You can't get copies from YouTube. The videos contained property that is owned by someone else. If YouTube gave you a copy of the property that is owned by someone else then YouTube would be breaking copyright law (making an unauthorized copy of property they do not own). They will not do that.
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||Abricialio||4/20/11 10:34 AM|
My ship video's didn't contained any property of someone else. The video's I made about my fictional ships were 100% made by me, and that are the video's I want to have back.
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||JDoors||4/20/11 10:38 AM|
Users are expected to keep the originals and backups because YouTube is not a file backup service. YouTube does not provide a way to obtain copies of videos from suspended accounts.
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||Abricialio||4/20/11 10:48 AM|
Then YouTube should be the worst video website in the world. I worked my heart into my bone to make all those video's, even the last weeks of being tired of life made it harder for me. And then YouTube takes away a piece of my life, where I was daily active on?
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||JDoors||4/20/11 11:07 AM|
You did it to yourself; You ignored or did not understand the rules, and you did not keep the originals or make backups of your videos. Neither of which is YouTube's fault.
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||Abricialio||4/20/11 11:16 AM|
Because the first two warnings were from the beginning of 2008. It said I was breaking the copyright things of Samsop and Fred voice-overs, and look now, they allow to re-post Samson and Gert series on YouTube? The third warning of Battle: LA was right, but not the first two warnings.
Either, if I don't get back my YouTube channel, I will take my own life. Be sure of that, YouTube was 15% of my life where I had to do something.
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||JDoors||4/20/11 11:28 AM|
You already have another YouTube account so, even though it's against the rules, use that one. Nobody is stopping you. Keep the originals and backups, and don't break the rules.
If the first two warnings were not valid you should have filed an appeal or legal counter-notice back then, BEFORE you broke the rules a third time.
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||Abricialio||4/20/11 11:30 AM|
Well I say it because my YouTube account is only blocked and not suspended or anything else. I don't either see the suspended thing in my account, just of the first two false warnings. Where do I contact YouTube?
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||JDoors||4/20/11 11:36 AM|
You are not correct. The Abricialio account has been terminated (permanently closed, suspended, or any number of other words or phrases that all mean the same thing in this situation), as you can see by the message that appears if you try to access it. You cannot get it back unless you can prove the copyright claims are not valid.
"YouTube account Abricialio has been terminated ..."
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||Abricialio||4/20/11 11:38 AM|
Yes and I can proof that that the first two copyright claims were not valid. The third one was, and it was right.
|Re: My YouTube account is blocked||JDoors||4/20/11 11:53 AM|
Hope you kept the information from those three-year-old videos, like the URL and whatnot, you'll need it to file a counter-notice. If they were false you should have addressed that issue three years ago.
