I still have yet to see this effectively answered:
How can we prevent Youtube from automatically signing us into our Youtube accounts if we've logged into our Gmail accounts in another browser window?
This is not a browser setting issue, as this has just recently started happening with me, and I never have my browsers remember passwords for -any- site. I typically only want to be logged into my Youtube account when I plan on uploading videos. I don't really need to be logged in any other time. Whatever Youtube/Google did to force this needs to be undone or at least allow us to opt out of this nonsense. I can go into my Youtube account settings and have it log me out of all Youtube sessions, but that's an idiotic solution. I have to log in to log out???

If you are logged into your Google account in your browser then you will usually be automatically signed in to YouTube or any other Google service linked to that Google account.
The solution is either to sign out of your Google account before going to YouTube OR using a different browser for YouTube. For example, if you use Firefox normally for your Google account-related stuff, use Chrome when you go to YouTube.

This is not a solution. That is a -workaround-.

Sure that's a work-around.
If you are logged into your Google account in your browser, you will be logged into the associated Google services in that browser. That's how Google accounts work.
Your options are to log out of your Google account or clear the Google account cookie from your browser or use a browser that is not logged in to your Google account.
If you use Chrome as your browser, it might work to switch into incognito mode:

youtube disgusts me with their so called "Security" features. I laughed in their faces when they tried to say linking your youtube account to your google account would be more secure. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I am not cool with google automatically logging me into my youtube account just because I am logged into my email.
This problem needs to be remedied in the near future.

>> I am not cool with google automatically logging me into my youtube account just because I am logged into my email. You are logged into your Google account. When you are logged into your Google account that should give you access to all the different Google products managed through that account.
If your Gmail email and your YouTube are both managed through the same Google account, you will have access to both of them while logged into Google.
