How do I remove the right sidebar pictures? (Aniconism) anymouse19 5/22/12 2:34 AM
Greetings,

I am a regular Google, iGoogle, Gmail, and Google Chrome user. I am also a Baha'i.
When searching for information on an upcoming religious holiday, a noticed a new sidebar that included inappropriate pictures of my religion's founders (the Báb and Bahá'u'lláh):

I've never seen this sidebar before and do not wish to worry about accidentally gazing on pictures of my religion's founders in an inappropriate setting (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aniconism_in_the_Bah%C3%A1%27%C3%AD_Faith )

Is there some way to remove or hide this sidebar?

I know other non-Baha'i Google users may find the pictures helpful, but to Baha'i Google users, they are quite inappropriate.

I don't think you can, it is Google's new Knowledge Graph, see http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2012/05/introducing-knowledge-graph-things-not.html
