The +1 button support forum is moving Jenny Murphy 10/12/11 4:24 PM
Hi everyone!

I've had a great time working with you all in the Webmaster Central forum, but it's time for a small change. As the Google+ platform grows and the +1 button social plugin becomes a more integral part of that Google+ platform, we'll be moving the primary support channel for questions about the +1 button on your site to the general Google+ platform forum.

The Google+ platform forum can be found by clicking on the 'Discussions' link in the +1 button JavaScript API documentation, https://developers.google.com/+/plugins/+1button/, or you can join the group directly here: https://groups.google.com/group/google-plus-developers/subscribe

We'll be active here and in the Google+ developer group for the next month, but I request that you please create new threads in the Google+ developer group going forward.

Cheers!
Jenny

The developers group is great and everything, but issues there seem to be cherry picked by people far more than this help forum.

This help forum you tend to get help (sometimes good sometimes crap, but still, you get a resonse)

Are there any tips to actually get a post read in the first place? Maybe something in the title?

After a week, my "+1 displaying a zero despite multiple clicks" has had a total of 3 views, and im sure 2 of those were me

Hmm ... I just tried to respond to a post (to direct the user to the proper forum) in the Google+ Developers Forum and get the following message:

Your post has been sent for review and will appear after it has been approved.

Is this standard for all first posts or is there a problem with my account?  I'm assuming that Google employees aren't monitoring posts and approving them over the weekend, so I'm glad that the original topic was from days ago (and hopefully the user has already figured things out.)

I can't get back to my Google+ page as an admin

This is standard, approval seems to be required for a users first reply to a post (you have lost your reply cherry now, so your all growded up on the dev form now), and any subsequent new posts (new topic).

No idea about the +1 as admin though.

Yes ... I did notice that once my original reply posted, the second one I posted went straight through.  It just caught me off-guard because I have not seen any of the other Google Help Forums behave in that way.

I have tried every script and head source, still the number is not showing and resets back to Zero. Why would google do this and depend there search rankings on it? What a joke! PLEASE HELP!

An error (#357) occurred while communicating with the server.

Tried Firefox , IE and Chrome and got the same message
so I posted the topic in Webmaster Central forum
