Could SENuke and other programs like that be dangerous for SEO purposes? I am trying to figure out more about the program, but want to know if that would be beneficial for ranking or if companies have been blacklisted because of it?

If it is too good to be true then there is a sucker born every minute. Don't be the sucker.

Could you please elaborate a bit your opinion, i.e. what makes you think like that, did you have any personal experience, etc...?

Link building software, great if you want a bunch of crappy profile back-links that are just about worthless.

The amount of spam I've had advertising that product on some of my WordPress powered sites suggests that their link building strategies aren't particularly effective either...

Well if their product doesent do much, they need to resort to the same crap as the other scammers in order to advetrtise their scamware
Spammers leading the scammed?

@Ant-9000 do you work for SENuke? I had a former client use the software and I saw the links it built, they were trash links. You would be better standing on the freeway off ramp and holding up a sign.

I don't work or was ever working with folks who developed the app. Strange that you ask it. I only wanted to hear more arguments from you, as what you've first replied was just from your "authority perspective", but with no arguments at all. I'm not into arguing that senuke is not what you consider it is - I only wanted to read about some REAL cases that things are NOT the way they spill all over the senuke sales pitch/page. And this should not classify me as the senuke fan or developer, either....

It's pretty simple, its sole purpose is to spam anchor text specific links across any blog/forum/2.0 etc. This is a link scheme and against Google TOS.

@Ant-9000 okay the reason I asked is that there are many people who jump on here in defense of a product like this and or are acting as a service rep. That being said I believe in the core fundamentals of SEO as defined many times by what Matt Cutts has said many times in print and at conferences. My rule as all SEO's is that if it sounds too good to be true then it is and that you have to watch out for. I believe in honest SEO and that is not what is offered by SENuuke at all, they are a joke. Real link building takes time and relationships built over time.
