Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/24/11 2:42 AM
I have read the FAQs and checked for similar issues: YES
My site's URL (web address) is: newsatweb (dot) com
Description (including timeline of any changes made): 1.5 week

I had violated the terms and Google blocked my Indexing. I admit my mistake. Infect on one SEO site I read the use of <H3> tag and I used it in many posts and after a week I blocked by Google, most probably I over stuffed it. Then I searched and seen many videos n you tube for webmaster help and I only found this reason only. I removed all violations from my site and submitted the reconsideration request no processed yet and waiting.

I lost all my visitors, revenue, credibility, repute with Google and I feel like alone. I am feeling the pain of this kick/slap and I can't sleep even. May be I deserve for that.

Suggestion for Google:
Google Team you are strict with your terms that is all right and agreed but you are multi billionaire company while I am not, i am earning few bucks daily. You can survive but I am not in that situation. I would request to make a system in which users can see the reason of block. Like I have verified each and every page of my website and I did not see any further violation but this is possible If I am still violating any term and you may keep blocking me. Human error is always possible. You are already helping webmasters and if you tell the reason also there is no harm this will also improve quality.

There could be many other ways like Google can impose the
-time based penalty (fixed time penalty at least webmaster will know the time when he will be unblocked)
-money based penalty (get re listed after removing violating content and paying the fine)
-Pre-warnings like one day or two day notice.

A multimillionaire company who have professional and dynamic staff can make this system not a big deal.

With re-consideration request at least this can be shown that request is rejected / ignored / accepted / in process / declined / blacklisted. At least this tinny information can help webmaster alot.

Google Employees who read this are requested to push such feedback in your meetings so that we the webmaster can have bit more facilitation. If these suggestions does not have any worth you can help webmaster in any other good way.

I hope somebody at Google will help us some time. I pray God to some soft heart Google Team review my reconsideration request I submitted and unblock me. I sewer I will not violate again.

Google would not have "blocked" your site for the use of the <H3> tag!
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE seo101 3/24/11 3:16 AM
BTW, what link scheme are you involved with those unrelated links in the footer? Link schemes --> bad --> get you banned.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE Becky Sharpe 3/24/11 3:17 AM
Overuse of the h3 tag will not get you banned. The issue is that you aren't generating any original content, it all comes from feeds that are available elsewhere.

The recent Panda update addressed this multiplication of content and many sites have felt the effects. You might want to re-post in the dedicated thread for debating the issue. http://goo.gl/bmCyx
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/24/11 3:23 AM
<H3> tag was used aggressively in my posts with keywords.

After being blocked by Google I also reviewed this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR5itZlq8sk

Now what you suggest? My website is now clean with <h3> tag. If this is not the reason of block I am afraid I do not have any further violated content.

This is the only change I made in this Month. I was blocked on 16th March and I started h3 from 9th March. I did not made any other change.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/24/11 3:30 AM
I apperciate your help.

@seo101
That fotter is by default in wordpress theme, I can not remove it. I am not involve in any link exchange scheme I know its violation of term.

@Becky Sharpe
I am writing my own, I know many people are copying us even they forget to remove by domain in title, keywords, tags most of the time. I write my domain in keywords tags more often to know how many are copying me and most of duplication you will see will have my domain name included.

When I was blocked I seen a notice in webmaster tools that I am banned in google indexing.

Please advise me.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE seo101 3/24/11 3:34 AM
You really do need to get rid of those links in the footer or put a nofollow on them. I would suspect that is the reason for your ban - they look like paid links.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE Becky Sharpe 3/24/11 3:34 AM
Do you write all your own content? What message did you get from Google>
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/24/11 3:51 AM
@Becky Sharpe
Yes I do write my own content. Just like very first news about Australia vs India Live Score AUS VS IND Live Streaming match review on my site which I have wrote last night is copied my few sites I can see this on Google search. Even if you see in page source on their site you will my domain name in their keywords. This is what shows that people are copying me instead I am stuffing stolen content. I hope now you trust me. The one I am refering is (yo entertainment (dot) com) and you will find other on google too.

@seo101
All wordpress templates have these kind of links. 80% of websites using custom wordpress themes have links at footer . I apperciate your feedback and I will try to find out some other theme to get rid of this. But its not a reciprocal link I hope you understand.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE Becky Sharpe 3/24/11 3:55 AM
Can't you access your code and get rid of the links?
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/24/11 4:07 AM
When I remove or change these links template stop working and message appears on website that you are not allowed to change these links. so I have to reverse the change to bring the website online.

I must change the template, but many other domains with same links are not blocked. Why only me if the problem are with links? No problem I am going to find a new template or may be I will purchase a footer free template.

My question is, that is the only violation you see?
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE seo101 3/24/11 4:14 AM
It your choice to leave the links there or not. I would not leave them there.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/24/11 4:21 AM
I am working on removing the links I give value to your suggestion, you are at Level 13 and I know the worth of your words.

What else you find there, any other violation you suspect? One thing 4 sure people are copying me as I was within first 5 links on google home page for many of my posts. I dont know what caused me for this painfull slap.

<h3> = Removed
Links = Removing at this time

Suggest me I will apperciate. In last 10 days only seo101 and Becky Sharpe has helped me I pay special thanks to you.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/24/11 5:21 AM
Ok, I was able to remove the templates link. Now what do you suggest?

-Do you find any further violations?
-Should we intimate this new change in Google reconsideration request again?

seo101 and Becky Sharpe are requested to help. All others are also requested to help me.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE Becky Sharpe 3/24/11 5:26 AM
I'd submit a reconsideration request, referencing this thread and stressing it was the theme and not you who installed the links.

Good luck.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE JohnMu 3/24/11 3:46 PM
Hi arazas
One thing that is very important to our algorithms is unique and compelling content. In general, it makes little sense for us to crawl and index content that is copied, rewritten, automatically translated or otherwise automatically processed -- we assume that our users would much rather want to find the original source. With that in mind, I would strongly recommend removing all such content -- should you have any -- and making sure that all of your content is of the highest quality possible, and really unique and compelling, in short: something that users will want to refer friends to.

Should you find and remove content like that, I would recommend submitting a reconsideration request after cleaning everything up, detailing the changes that you have made.

Hope it helps!
John
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/25/11 3:01 AM
Thank you John.

I apperciate your advise. I am again working and investigating my all content. I will surely find and remove my mistakes if any. I admit that Google only block when you are violating.

Please also understand the fact that people are copying me. Just like my last post New Zealand vs South Africa it is totally unique, read it as its worth reading as I write my own reviews and you can see last night I submited this post and it is already copied to two or more sites. You can check all my reviews, they are totally unique but it seems they are no longer, on web I can not stop people copying me. And if I would be well indexed this would surely copied by many.

I will get back again, I am finding the quality issues inside my website.

Thanks again.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE JohnMu 3/25/11 3:32 AM
Hi Arazas

It would seem strange to me that the Times of India would be copying and correcting the mistakes in your posts... Looking through a sample of your posts, I don't see a problem with other sites copying your content, but I do see posts on your site that are just rewritten from other sources. While I understand that you can't make up news, it's really important to us that your site provides unique and compelling content of its own, even if you are referring to other sources. One way to do this could be to properly quote and link to the original source, while making sure that your commentary makes up the majority of the content on those pages. Rewriting other sources without attribution or unique additional value is not something that our algorithms appreciate.

Hope it helps!
John
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/25/11 11:38 PM
JohnMu, Your support is extremely appreciated.

-I shocked to hear about such content and when I investigated I found many further violations. I came to know that I was violating but I was so confident that I referenced the things sometimes, I also came to know after you exposed the things that I even don't know how to referenced the things.

My Actions:

-The very first step I have taken is I purchased a copyscape.com premium account to find out black and white inside my website. This helped me to find out my violations.

-I have removed numerous things like JNU MMS posts, some wiki leaks news...etc I found that my mistakes in them. I found that I was not able to deliver the quality. I found my self very false.

For exam results, recruitment, movies review, matches I totally write my own words, TRUST ME.

Next Steps?

-What should be my next step, should I write an detailed reconsideration request again or do you think I am still failed to fix? I had worked whole night as I was not able to sleep after your last reply I was guilty that what is happening in my website. I would apperciate your advise.

-This is also true some sites are copying me, trust me like "yo entertainment (dot) com", should I report this or not? I don't like to damage any one but if this will affect me I would surely report, what do you advise on this?

JohnMu I once again thank you for assisting me.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 3/28/11 6:22 AM
I just submitted the Reconsideration request again for my website. The block on indexing costs more than income so never violate the terms. People please pray for my resume.
Re: Google Blocked My MISTAKE arazas 4/4/11 12:33 AM
