Hey guys

I think that given the fact that we've only done two of these so far, things are going great. Keep the questions coming and we'll try to answer as many of them as possible.

Hi Carol

Are you applying for a Google job? Is you resume in Google Docs?
I don't understand the question at this point. It may be worthwhile starting your own thread in Chit Chat. I tried to check your history but I don't see any other posts....
Re: Webmaster Central and Web Search Helpdesk Hangouts Nick Polimeni 11/21/12 10:56 PM
Seems I'm not allowed to create a new topic, and this forum maybe the only place left to talk to live people...

I'm tired of surfing Google Help for even ten minutes, just to find a solution to a problem that shouldn't be:

Chrome rejects too many web sites, that are not really security problems, for example Twitter. Yet, I can't access twitter from Chrome. I have to use another browser... Chrome doesn't even give me the option to proceed anyway:

This comes back to me:

You attempted to reach twitter.com, but the server presented a certificate issued by an entity that is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may mean that the server has generated its own security credentials, which Google Chrome cannot rely on for identity information, or an attacker may be trying to intercept your communications.
You cannot proceed because the website operator has requested heightened security for this domain.

Google explains why this happens, but it gives no solution, nor should it happen at all... I've already pursued this for two hours, and I'm here now. Google needs to handle this internally, and don't even involve me, or stop my browsing for some reason that I have nothing to do with.

I use Chrome and don't see that issue for twitter.com at all.
In any case Chrome problems are for the Chrome forum: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/chrome

Re: Webmaster Central and Web Search Helpdesk Hangouts Susanne Taggart 11/30/12 4:28 AM
Hi is there anyone here who can help me - I have requested a reconsider in error as I was trying to request a review

how can I cancel this
Re: Webmaster Central and Web Search Helpdesk Hangouts Sasch 12/9/12 4:59 PM
Hi Susanne

If you've filed a reconsideration request in error, there's probably nothing much to worry about. Just let it run and everything should be OK.

For your information, next time you have a question for this forum, it's probably better to open your own discussion, rather than asking your question in an existing discussion.

Cheers

Sasch

Why you do not single out the most important day in the word – Birthday of Jesus Christ?? It is not the exact date, but this day is supposed and celebrated in whole world. Why you recently marked out Brothers Grimm or Steven Spielberg. Are they more important than God? Than person Jesus Christ whose birth changed all the time-counting system – BC and AD?? Thanks to Him we have salvation by faith and today in your Celebrity schedule there is not even remark about this event and this Person!?! Why?!?

It is not the obligation to make greeting posts on your web-site but if you are doing this why there are so absurd priorities?

With my deep incomprehension,

Viesturs.

I wish you to get the revelation about Jesus Christ our Savior.

There is a 3'16" story about Him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwcqujK0Zno&feature=player_embedded#!

No hangouts scheduled for this year?
Re: Webmaster Central and Web Search Helpdesk Hangouts Ashley 1/8/13 6:30 AM
Yannis if you add the hangout to your Google + profile you'll get the invitations as they come. Matt & Sasch have been pretty consistent about doing them weekly.
