|Notification error: ... is served by two domains||wp_xave||2/12/13 9:37 PM|
Dear Google support..
I've read the FAQs and searched the help center.
My URL is: http://aub.ac.uk
I've received a notification email : Message ID: CSO81511 (theres also a second message ID: [WMT-79710] in the footer of the email!?!)
http://aucb.ac.uk/ is served by two domains
However, I have correctly configured a 301 redirect for both www.aucb.ac.uk and aucb.ac.uk to redirect to aub.ac.uk (the new domain) and updated webmasters tools to indicate the domain name change. There is also no error message showing in webmasaters tools which reflects this notification email and everything appears to be working correctly - why am I getting this notification email?

The duplicate content is located on the domain aucb.dev.fixel.co.uk (your web design agency?). They should simply close that subdomain or block it to search engines.

Thanks markus - The block was added a while ago - so I guess the notification was from cached version.
