Explain your issue in full detail here: I am user of 3Drad, game-maker.  The default animation for skinmesh objects (e.g. people) uses bone-based animation.  I have looked online and on forums, yet my problems still occur.  I simply just need to start animation.  So if you could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I doubt that people here will know a lot about 3D Rad, but fortunately the 3D Rad people seem to know about SketchUp!

first crate a bone based animation from 3Ds max. Then export it with the help of plugin.
for me skethup is better if you want to export skinmeshes.
