You are having a problem with the sample scripts that came with SU.  Have you enabled the extension through Window > Preferences > Extensions.  Check the box for Ruby Script Examples.  You might as well check all the other boxes as well.

None of the sample scripts should be moved out of folders in the program's Plugins directory.

Okay people, I have downloaded a " new" ver 6 and put in the plugin CL ver 4.07.
I select the components to be sized/catologued and click on the plugin then cutlist.

I then et a new window with this

What you can try:

Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.

Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

  • Internet connectivity has been lost.
  • The website is temporarily unavailable.
  • The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
  • The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.

I really need to get this fixed so I can use this very handy extra.

Now you are into a specific problem with the plugin itself.  For help, contact the latest developer, Steve or the cutlist forum thread http://steveracz.com/joomla/content/view/45/1/.

Hi Karl,

Thanks for contacting me for help. I am certain we can resolve this.
These type of issues are usually an installation problem.
For instructions on how to install this plugin, you can visit the site on Lumberjocks http://lumberjocks.com/daltxguy/blog/5143

The installation is quite simple really. You need to unzip the contents of the download to the plugins directory.
Common mistakes are to not unzip the entire contents and copy only the ruby script or to unzip to the wrong location. Both leads to strange errors.

If you still have trouble,  contact me again and we can sort it out.
