To  delete a Google Site

1.  Log on to your site.
2.  Select "More Actions" => "Manage Site"
3.  Select General under the Site Settings heading in the left navigation menu
4.  Scroll to the bottom and click the Delete This Site link.(in red)

WARNING: Deleting a site is permanent! Recovery is not possible and you will not be able to recreate a site at this location.
You'll be asked to confirm deletion before your site is erased.

Next time try searching before posting, this has been answered before, I couldn't make a reference.

This doesn't tell me how to delete a Google APS site. Do you know how to do that, please?

I bought a domain name through Google to redirect my blogspot URL to it. I signed in to Google APS from my email verification of the domain purchase. Now Blogspot won't let me redirect my URL to the new domain. Says another blog is already being hosted there.

So how do I delete the Google APS application and free the domain name?

I would also like to know how to delete the Google apps option from my domain. I want to edit it in Dreamweaver and upload it with FTP @ Dreamhost.

if you cant delete a site because google wont let you then instead go into you sites editor and then go to your managment options, you can make your site a private site and then you will be the only one that can see and have access to your account. It is almost as good as deleting it but it will not completely take it off the internet, just you will be able to find it

Yes, I found all  of that. However when I go to the manage sites page, the "General" tab is not highlighted? So how do I get to the delete a site page if I cant get the general tab open?

Re: How to remove/delete a google web site? Lorne Myers 12/9/13 4:20 PM
Never mind, I don't know what just happened but when I went back in there just now the general tab was working! And I deleted the site. Thanks for the help!

Nope! Does not work. There is no such option under "General."

If you don't see the delete site option then you are not signed in with an owner account.
