I am getting the 414 error after using the Google Gadget "code wrapper" to hold code from Paypal for payment buttons. After I create the gadget it works fine. But, if I try to go back and edit the properties of the gadget the error message appears. The only way I can fix anything is to delete the gadget and make it again.

Having same issue, worked fine when I added the gadget, but once I added a table background it won;t work and getting error message as stated above.

Any ideas?

Mori79, Sites Guru, makes the Code Wrapper gadget: have you thought of getting in touch with him?

did anyone get anywhere with this? I have the same problem.  Or, is there another way of having an HTML page of code added to a Google site page that you know of without the issue with unacceptable tags in the HTML link :( thanks

Found the answer to it - I think so anyway.  Getting code into a Google site is done creating a gadget and then using the URL to add to site page.  Works awesome.
