Search Maps by OS Grid Reference? JonC 1/24/09 7:12 AM
Searching for a location using a UK Ordnance Survey grid reference, such as TL390294, does not seem to be supported.  It works fine in Multimap, but the only referencing for Google Maps seems to be latitude/longitude.

Does anyone know if it is possible, or when it may be added to Google Maps?

Thanks.  Entering the grid ref in the box takes you there in the end, if you keep zooming, but, unlike on multimap, there is no precise indication of the exact place on the map.

Try http://www.sewhgpgc.co.uk/xc/os2.php which works better

I've knocked something up as I was having this issue to. Surprised Google are taking so long over this.

add your grid ref and it will give you a google link
