Last week, we introduced the new Google Maps app for Android smartphones and tablets.
Today, we’re rolling out a new Google Maps app for iPhone and iPad. It’s a new mapping experience, making exploring the world and getting to the places that matter to you even faster and easier.

Q: Which iOS devices and operating systems support the new app?
A: We support iOS 6 on the following devices:
-iPhone 4, 4S, 5
-iPod Touch (4th and 5th generations)
-All iPads (except 1st generation)
Q: How do I get the new app?
A: The new app is being rolled out and will be available for download in the App Store soon. If you already have the Google Maps app on your iPhone, you’ll be notified when the new version is available.
Q: Which countries and languages is the new iOS app available in?
A: The Google Maps app is available in many languages and in many countries. To see full availability for iOS, please see this Help Center article.
Q: How can I submit feedback and/or report data problems?
A: There’s a feedback tool built directly into the app. Simply shake your device, and tap “Send feedback”. From there, you can report mapping issues (for example, an incorrect address) or share your app feedback. To turn ‘Shake to send feedback’ on and off, tap the profile button in the top right, then the gear icon in the top right.
