Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ski4404 4/28/12 3:18 PM
Hello Daniel.  Thank you for the update.  Unfortunately since this update, street names are no longer being announced during navigation.  I still get voice prompts like "turn left", but that's it.  Uninstalling updates to maps brings the street names back so something broke in this latest update.  This is on a Galaxy Nexus on VZW.

Thank you.

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update maddogz 4/29/12 7:40 PM
Same issue here, no spoken street names on Galaxy Nexus VZW...  If Google isn't testing this with the Galaxy Nexus, are they testing it at all?  Pretty basic functionality to break.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ski4404 4/30/12 7:37 AM
Just wanted to note that there are other users also reporting this in the mobile help group: https://groups.google.com/a/googleproductforums.com/d/topic/mobile/5ebYWg1J5Z4/discussion
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update plasmoidia 4/30/12 8:09 AM
I am also experiencing the problem with Navigation no longer speaking street names. Verizon Galaxy Nexus running stock 4.0.2.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update cnanney 4/30/12 12:48 PM
Verizon Galaxy Nexus running stock 4.0.2.

Same issue with Navigation not saying street names, rendering voice updates pretty useless. Also on that note, the spoken directions seem choppy and unclear when being played over music. I usually have phone plugged into car stereo and playing music via the Play Music app, and when the music fades down for the Navigation voice prompts, the voice often breaks up and is crackly.

Same issue, but voice is much much better than before.
Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ByteMaster0 5/2/12 4:33 PM
Same issue, Verizon Galaxy Nexus, 4.0.2 stock, no root. Following the update, no spoken street names, just basic directions. Needs a fix, only uninstalling the updates corrects the problem, though it removes many great features. Please fix.
Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update moleman 5/2/12 6:04 PM
Same issue...no street names.  VZW, galaxy nexus, ICS. uninstalled updates so the voice navigation has some value.  "turn right" isn't very helpful.  Street names still display on device, but voice doesn't read them
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update BN1204 5/3/12 11:58 PM
Street names are no longer being said during navigation on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4.0.2 (Verizon) after this recent update. Just says "turn left" or whatever direction you have to go. Also doesn't say distance (ie: 1.4 miles) either. Hope to have this fixed.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update davidwar 5/5/12 11:33 AM
This problem which I am also experiencing is on this and many android forums.  It seems to only effect the Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone after the latest Google Maps update (6.0.6)  I have yet to see anyone from Google acknowledge that the problem exists or suggest if/when they are going to fix it.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update tomgeery 5/6/12 10:47 AM
unfortunately, this update removes a significant feature - spoken street names and exit numbers and dumbs down the navigation feature significantly.  any chance there's an update coming to fix this?
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update carlitov 5/6/12 7:10 PM
Hello Daniel,

I must also join the group of users who sorely regretted updating solely due to the fact that TTS of street names during navigation disappeared. This feature made the maps a must have. You didn't just hear turn left or right, but also the street names which kept you from looking at the navigation screen. Please create a fix for this.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update superdev 5/7/12 7:07 AM
I had the same problem on my Galaxy Nexus LTE on Verizon when I was on Android 4.0.2. I just updated to the leaked 4.0.4 build and it seems to have fixed the problem for now. Will update if the problem re appears.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ski4404 5/7/12 10:29 AM
I was wondering if 4.0.4 might have something to do with this... interesting.  I believe they are pushing 4.0.4 to VZW users OTA now in phases...
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ByteMaster0 5/7/12 11:08 AM
Of course, it will take weeks for most of us to get the update - if we do at all, and VZW doesn't end up yanking the update. Kinda crappy that we'd have to have a useless nav app when an update for our phones clearly isn't available. I too was wondering about 4.0.4, esp. because VZW phones are the only GNex devices that are still using an archaic release of ICS.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update _npt 5/8/12 6:22 AM
I, too, noticed that the street names are no longer spoken. I have a Galaxy Nexus on VZW -- it did a really GREAT job of pronouncing most street name -- even hard to pronounce ones.
Running Navigation on an Android 2.1 OS (Galaxy Tab), the speech is synthesized and sounds very robotic but the directions were clear.
PLEASE BRING THE STREET NAMES BACK!!!

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update cindych 5/8/12 10:02 AM
Hi Everyone,

Thanks for reporting your issue with release 6.6.

Our team is working to investigate this issue. Please answer the following question if possible:

1. Where is there locale on your phone. Go into Google Maps>Menu>Settings>About and look at your Locale. (i.e. en_US) and tell us what that says.

2. Please check that text-to-speech is working on your phone.  You can do so by checking if an app like Google Translate (which they can download from Google Play) can playback text or by going to Settings > Language & input > Text-to-speech output > Listen to an example.

3. Also are you experiencing this issue in all areas? Or just in areas where you have poor network/data connection?

5. Lastly if you have not done so, please let us know what version your on for Android (i.e. 4.0.2, 4.0.4, etc).

Thanks! This information will help us investigate what's going on, and thanks for your patience. Once I get some responses, I'll report back to the team and provide updates as soon as they are available.

Cheers,
Cindy

1. en (no en_US), though I am in the states.
2. Works perfectly. Same as always.
3. Issue persists in all areas. Whether solid 3G or LTE connectivity, or poor connectivity, issue persists.
5. (Where did 4 go? :) ) 4.0.2 - I've heard that people with 4.0.3+ don't have this issue.

P.S.  Please force Verizon to push updates faster.  Is there any way we can download our OTA updates direct from google rather than waiting for Verizon?

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update plasmoidia 5/8/12 1:20 PM
1. Locale: en
2. TTS works in both Translate and the example
3. All areas
5. VZW 4.0.2

Could the issue be that the locale needs to be en_US instead of plain en? All the language settings I could find on the phone show something like "English (United States)." Is there a way to change the locale for Maps? Also, is there a way to test the voice without having to use GPS?
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update cadroidman 5/8/12 1:24 PM
Same here. Stock 4.0.2 on Galaxy Nexus (VZW). Very unsafe and frustrating. Only getting things like, "turn right", "turn left", "take exit", etc.

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update _npt 5/9/12 2:01 PM
The new version of Navigation NOT ONLY does not pronounce Street Names, it also ALWAYS orients the map display so it is pointing North.

This is very disorienting when driving South!

If you want to change the UI so dramatically, at least offer a setting to keep the UI the way it was.

I uninstalled the updates and now have voice Street Names, AND Map Orientation pointing the correct way.

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ByteMaster0 5/9/12 2:07 PM
@cindych,

Maps version 6.7.0 does NOT fix this, though I assume you know this already... how did this thing get past QC? :) Does Google not use any Verizon Nexii?
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update VDPHB 5/9/12 4:10 PM
Just updated to 6.7.0 and still no street names spoken

Verizon Stock Galaxy Nexus

I'm having this issue as well.

Pleeeeeeeeeeease fix this! So much more helpful with street names.

I can also confirm as well that the issue is still present in the 6.7 update.

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update teancum144 5/11/12 1:36 PM
Maps has completely stopped working for me since the recent updates. As soon as I open the app and touch the location button it crashes. I've reported through the app a number of times. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to report this. Here is my info:

1) Locale = "en" (not "en_US")
2) Settings > Language & input > Text-to-speech output > Listen to an example = works
3) All areas
4) Verizon Galaxy Nexus 4.0.2 (unmodified)
5) Maps version: 6.7.0 (#6070013) gmm-android-verizon

Please fix soon. I rely on this app a lot.

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ByteMaster0 5/13/12 10:01 AM
It doesn't seem like this will be fixed any time soon. My only solution to this aggravating nightmare of a problem was to uninstall all updates and then install an APK for 6.5.1. Search for "maps 6.5.1 apk" and download and install, and you will have at least some of your functionality back. Google, any updates?

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ciscoheat 5/13/12 6:56 PM
I too am getting this on the Galaxy Nexus.  In fact, if you uninstall updates back to the factory installed program, turn by turn comes back on (but you lose many of the other great features Google has added since then...like music lowering volume instead of pausing and the god awful text menus which are might hard to navigate through while driving).  Same location with original release on Nexus and the latest version give very different results.  Please let us know when a fix is available so I can get off the original maps.  Its better than this latest update though.

Thank you

SB
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ciscoheat 5/13/12 7:13 PM
Te reply to Cindy, here is the info requested:

1.  en
2.  Yes, my Text to Speech works.  I use IVONA text to speech (but both IVONA and standard Google TTS Engine won't pronounce names)
3.  Seemingly all areas.  Nashville, TN and Cleveland, OH are two areas it didn't work in until uninstalling updates and then it worked in both areas.
4.  There is not four!! ; )
5.  4.0.2

Hope a fix comes soon.  I hate using the old version...but its still better than the current version.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update wdh97702 5/14/12 10:28 AM
en, works as always, all areas regardless of connection, 4.0.2
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update wdh97702 5/14/12 10:29 AM
So, it has been a couple of weeks.  Still no update on this?

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update _npt 5/14/12 10:39 AM
Hi,

I mentioned elsewhere that I too have a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon and have this issue as well. Locale is 'en', 4.0.2 version of OS, etc.

Two interesting tidbits of information:

1. When I uninstalled the updates, I noticed the Locale was 'en-US' as you mention in your original email. Is this perhaps a clue as to what is going wrong on 4.0.2?

2. I also have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Running Gingerbread (2.0.1). While the speech sounds robotic, it does work correctly except that the map orientation is ALWAYS North to the top of the screen which is NOT always the best orientation for the map.

If you are going to change the UI (i.e. to North always at the top of the screen), can you at least leave an option to retain the old type of orientation (with destination always toward the top of the screen)?

Thank you

PS
Is there a way to turn OFF updates to Google Maps until this is cleared up?  I've had to uninstall updates 4 times!

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update treebles 5/14/12 12:44 PM
>>Is there a way to turn OFF updates to Google Maps until this is cleared up?  I've had to uninstall updates 4 times!
I have a newer version of Gingerbread, but see if this procedure works to prevent automatic updates.

  1. Open Play Store (Formerly Android Market)
  2. Press the Menu button.
  3. Press My Apps.
  4. Find Maps in the list of Apps and press it.
  5. Make sure that Allow automatic updating is unchecked.
    1. A black check mark means that automatic updates are not allowed
    2. A green check mark means that automatic updates are allowed
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update _npt 5/14/12 12:50 PM
Thank you!

I knew I saw that somewhere -- I would never have checked Google Play Store!!!

Once again,  Thank you!

Verizon Galaxy Nexus running stock 4.0.2.

Same issue with Navigation not saying street names,
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update Santeno 5/15/12 11:48 AM
Cindych:

-  I'm using a Verizon Wireless Galaxy Nexus running Android 4.0.2.
-  Locale is listed as en  (not "en_US" as your post indicates it should read)
-  TTS output is enabled (using the Google TTS engine).
-  The version of Maps I'm running is 6.7.0.
-  The issue is present in all areas, regardless of mobile signal strength.

Clearing the cache and deleting and re-installing do nothing. Neither does using a different voice engine.

Does that help you diagnose things?

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update Santeno 5/15/12 11:52 AM
BTW, It seems cindych posted a week ago and has had no follow up to the post.  Any chance of anyone at google reading this who might car to give us an idea of what is going on?

Thanks for letting us know about the voice navigation issues and providing us with details! We're still investigating the issue, so please sit tight. We'll post on this thread as soon as we've got an update.

GPS navigation without street names is pretty useless in an urban area or a highway exit with multiple forks.

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update Valyrian 5/17/12 1:25 PM
1. en

2. TTS output is working properly

3. Issue is in all areas, regardless of 3G, 4G, or poor data signal

5. Android 4.0.2 stock on Samsung Galaxy Nexus (VZW LTE)

I'd be more than happy to give further information or perform testing to assist with this issue.

Thanks!
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update Daniel (Google Community Manager) 5/17/12 2:31 PM
Hey all,

We've identified an issue where this behavior can be caused by a combination of Google Maps version 6.6 or 6.7 when it's run on Android version 4.0.2. We're working on incorporating a fix. In the meantime, if your device has been offered an over-the-air update for Android but you haven't installed it yet, I recommend updating to resolve this issue. You can check to see if an update is available on your phone from Settings > About phone > System update. Note that the latest version of Android, 4.0.4, is still rolling out so it may not be available for your device yet.

More updates to follow as they come—thanks again for providing details, it's really helpful to our team.

-Daniel

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update _npt 5/17/12 2:38 PM

Thanks very much Daniel. The update is very much appreciated.

Do you think you can talk Verizon into releasing 4.0.4?

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update edbett 5/17/12 4:11 PM
Thanks so much for identifying that there is a problem and that we are not all NUTS!  However, some of us with Verizon GN have become convinced that we may never get update to 4.0.4....So we wait, and wait...
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update MatthieuPierce 5/17/12 5:32 PM

2. Yes, example text reads fine.
3. Experiencing the issue in all areas, regardless of network strength.
5. Android version 4.0.2, Build number ICL53F
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update mdschulte 5/17/12 7:06 PM
1. Locale: en

2. TTS example plays correctly

3. Issue happens in all areas including good data connections

5. 4.0.2 Galaxy Nexus VZW, rooted but otherwise stock.

I have also noticed that for some strange reason my Weatherbug application is no longer able to tell my correct location.  It may be unrelated but for some reason it now thinks that I am in New York City (I'm in Kansas).  I have cleared the app data and cache.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update Jade W. 5/22/12 10:52 AM
Hi all,

I'm checking in again about the navigation street name issue. Thanks for your reports. Mostly the same news that Daniel brought, but in case you didn't see it:

We've identified this as only affecting Google Maps for Android users running version 6.6 or higher on Android 4.0.2. If this applies to you, check to see if a newer update for Android is available for your device by going to Settings > About phone > System Update. As later versions of  Android are still being rolled out, an update may not yet be released for your device.

My fingers are crossed that the later version of Android will find its way to you guys, soon. Please let me know if you're on 4.0.4 and it's not fixed.

Jade

Unfortunately, I'm with Verizon and have yet to see the 4.0.4 update and have no idea when/if I will get the update.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ciscoheat 5/22/12 11:24 AM
I'm with Batwing...kind of sucks having a bug but no fix in sight.  Not to mention, what if 4.0.4 doesn't fix it?  Any way for us to roll back to the 6.5 update somehow?  I'm not sure which is worse, 6.7 or the factory installed version.

So frustrated.  I'm also on Verizon, also with a Galaxy Nexus on version 4.0.2, also with absolutely no idea of when I'll get 4.0.4 and whether it will even fix the Navigator problem.  Navigator is pretty much useless right now, as it won't say street names, exit names, how far till a turn, etc.  I've gotten lost several times.  Also, I don't know about anyone else, but the Navigator also has now completely blown up on me -- twice -- when I've had to change my route while driving (for example, road was unexpectedly closed for a marathon this weekend).  Instead of just competently rerouting, the Navigator completely goes haywire and just keeps telling me to make a U-turn, and then when I've made it, to make another U-turn, in an endless loop.

I can confirm that the issue is resolved with 4.0.4. Not that my phone has been officially updated. I finally got fed up and manually applied the leaked update (IMM76K).
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update ByteMaster0 5/26/12 12:25 PM
@Daniel,

I sincerely hope that the Maps team chooses to fix the issue so that it works even on 4.0.2. All of us on VZW are experiencing this problem. Maybe Google isn't aware at how atrociously slow VZW is at getting timely updates to a Nexus device - why do they even bother selling it under that name? After countless rumors about an update to 4.0.4, it doesn't seem to be in Verizon's interest to keep this phone current. If Maps isn't fixed to work on 4.0.2, then none of us can install any future updates, as VZW has simply left us hanging. Logically, we could unlock and flash leaks of 4.0.4+, but that isn't quite the buyer experience that a customer should face. Those of us with this phone on VZW are deeply disappointed by Verizon's unwillingness to supply an adequate level of support for our devices. So, please add compatibility for 4.0.2, as none of us know when we will ever seen an update.

I agree with this post and will take it one step further.  It is very frustrating to own one of "Google's" flagship phones and feel as if there is no support for us.  Both from Verizon and now even from Google in the sense that we will not have a fix in place for Maps.  Don't even get me started on the fact that Samsung has dropped the ball tremendously on accessories (ie:  3 pin car dock).  This phone was touted as the best of the best...and to I believe that to be true, but support from everyone involved shows a severe amount of abandonment.

Couldn't have said it better.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update Valkannen 5/29/12 1:08 PM
How about releasing a Maps version that fixes the lack of street names issue on 4.0.2? Currently the only fix is to either wait for Verizon to push 4.0.4 (apparently never gonna happen) or unlock the bootloader and manually update to 4.0.4, which voids the phone warranty and is a rather inelegant solution. Since the feature worked previously on 4.0.2, it should be possible to make it work again.

Telling users they should wait for something that might never happen for a device they've paid good money for is unacceptable, especially when a client update would suffice.

Well Put.  Seems like Maps broke when Google pushed out an update.  So, Google can you please fix the thing you broke?
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update plasmoidia 5/30/12 7:14 AM
Hang tight, folks. The 4.0.4 update is happening, and soon:
Official confirmation from Verizon this time. I, too, have been frustrated with the delayed updates on my Galaxy Nexus, but I understand Google's stance to not fix maps when 4.0.2 is a dead-end OS version and will be updated soon. They likely could not get a fix out before the 4.0.4 update now.

By the way, you don't have to unlock or alter your device to update to the "leak" (the official release). A simple temporary root to put the update .zip file in the right place and you can update just fine. But even that should not be necessary soon.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update davidwar 6/2/12 8:37 AM
Well i just upgraded to android 4.0.4 and now I can't get maps to upgrade.  Am stuck on version 6.4.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update Santeno 6/2/12 11:05 AM
Well folks is you are running a VZW Galaxy Nexus that has yet to update to 4.0.4, here is how you can force the update:

  • First go to your phone's settings menu
  • Once in the setting's screen select Apps/
  • Once in Apps you will see three tabs across the top of the screen.  Select the right most tab titled All
  • Once in the All tab, scroll down until you find an app titled Google Services Framework.  Click on that
  • Once in Google Services Framework, click on the button titled Clear Data and then click on the button that says Force Stop. You will get a message saying that the app might not work properly if you do, just hit ok.
  • Now go back to the main setting's screen and scroll all the way to the end.  The last button should be titled About Phone.  Click on it.
  • Once in About Phone, your first button should be titled System Updates.  Click on that.
  • Once in System Updates there will be a single button titled Check For Updates.  Click on that and your phone should start downloading the 4.0.4 update immediately.

If this doesn't work for you, try it another time.  I've read reports of people having to repeat the process 2 or 3 times before it took.  For me it worked the first time out.

The update takes about 5 minutes to fully install and includes a re-boot.  I have not yet tested navigation to see if it is fixed, but suspect that it is.

Confirmed, this issue is fixed after updating 4.0.4 on the Galaxy Nexus.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update _npt 6/4/12 6:57 AM
My VZW Galaxy Nexus updated to 4.0.4 on Saturday. Maps updated to Ver. 6.8.0 immediately afterward.

Voice navigation is better than ever! Map orientation no longer has North at the top of the screen.

ALLRIGHT!!! Great job.

Thank you.

Hey all,

Nice to see that some of you have fixed the issue by updating to 4.0.4. For those who have not, the update has been released—to update go to Settings > About phone > System Update. Please let me know if you cannot update or the update does not fix the issue. (Provide your device, OS/version and carrier)

Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel, I'm still having the problem and am running the following : TMobile, Nexus One (HTC Passion), Android 2.3.7, Cyanogenmod 7.2 RC3 with Google Maps Version 6.8.1.   It only says "Head North" or "Turn Left" with no street names.

Just confirming fix with update to 4.0.4.  Thanks!
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update nexus15 6/9/12 9:29 AM
I am on 4.0.4 and still have the issue. Could be that I was on 4.0.4 before the bug manifested.

Just so the Mobile Maps team knows it looks like updating the phone fixes something that corrects the issue but if you were on 4.0.2 when the issue took place then upgraded your fine. If you were on 4.0.4 when it took place your stuck with the bug.

You might consider doing a factory reset on your phone .  I ended up doing that and then of course re-installing ecveythig.  A bit of a bother but maps now works properly.

I am using the very latest Google Maps 6.81 (#6080101), Locale en_GB. The street and road names were NOT announcing, so I did a full uninstall/reinstall of Google Maps and I can confirm that everything is now working. Thanks.

I have a Motorola Atrix model MB860, subscribed to AT&T.  It has the latest system version 4.5.141.  It has the latest Android version Gingerbread 2.3.6.  I'm having the same problem with Google Maps navigation.  Street names no longer given - since last Maps update.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update rbrosz 6/23/12 8:19 PM
This problem is not fixed for those of us on older operating systems.  I'm on a droid 4 with 2.3.6 on Verizon and this issue is not fixed for me or any of my friends with a phone not on ICS.  I don't know what changed in the maps app, but this needs to be fixed for everyone.  For now I've uninstalled all updates and can confirm that voice prompts come back as soon as updates are removed.

1. Locale: en_US
2. Yes, text to speech works in Translate
3. All areas, regardless of connectivity
5. 2.3.3
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update DJ SPY 7/4/12 9:17 AM
I just updated to ICS on my RAZR and I to i'm having the same problem of the Street Names not being said. Since this "problem" has been around for a while I don't think It's a bug but rather someone at Google had the genius idea of removing the feature. I just hope you're not planning on releasing a paid "premium" version that includes this feature. That would be low.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update the Ramen Noodle 8/29/12 11:08 AM
Is there any update to the missing spoken street names? I've had this problem for months and it makes Google Navigation worthless to me.

I think we've been forgotten

When my phone upgraded to ICS 4.04 the problem was fixed for me.  What version of Android are you using?

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update gruvin2 9/9/12 5:56 AM
I recently upgraded from gingerbread 2.3.5 on my LG Nitro HD to ICS 4.0.4 and no longer have TTS with google navigation. I have tried to do a system software update but I have not been able due to "authentication error" check back in 23hr and 59min to no avail repeatedly.

1. google maps show-  en
2. TTS checked with TTS output- listened to example and works fine.
3. no matter where I am it has not worked. GPS enabled & wifi connected doesn't matter-
4. 4.0.4 without a system update possible at this time.

I will update once I can find out from AT&T how to force a software update .

Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update gruvin2 9/9/12 6:18 AM
Just spoke with LG directly and was told I have the most current software available for my phone.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update mikibee 9/9/12 2:24 PM
Ever since my Droid Razr Maxx updated, Google Voice Navigation hasn't worked properly. At first I got no voice navigation at all until I cleared all the data for Google Navigation. Now I don't get any street names.. it just says, go straight then turn right then turn right.. etc. I hope it's fixed soon.
Re: Google Maps for Android - 6.6 update anc112 10/3/12 1:01 PM
1. Locale is en_US
2. Text-to-speech is working properly

3. Issue experinced in all areas.

4. Android version 4.1.1 (CM10 Nightly build)

Always have the error when on Nightly builds of CM9 or 10. Is the error due to Maps or Andoid 4.1 ??
