A friend sent me an email that I know has a large attachment. She shows the send was successful, but I am not receiving it. We tested an email without an attachment and it came through just fine. Is there a file size limit for attachments? Is there a setting that I can adjust to receive this email?

Certain types of attachments are frowned upon by Gmail such as those with exe files or certain zip files which could cause problems. The attachment size from a Gmail account is limited to 24 meg but this is not always true and limiting to 20 meg would most likely be better. To test ask her to try something with a smaller attachment and see if this works.

I have a 2 minute video that I wish to send as an attachment to friend. I received a message that the file size exceeds 25 meg and could not be sent. Is there a way to compress the file and attach it?

Video doesn't compress well. Try YouSendIt.com

A pdf listed as 21 Mb and apparently sent as an attachment.
The file had saved as 24.5Mb when compiled.
The CC did not get the attachment.
The transmisioin took several minutes to both load and to send.
