How to recover deleted drafts? Tyagsabari 6/9/09 6:55 PM
I have accidentally deleted drafts from my mail account. These were important research data. Can I recover this data? Is it possible to retrieve them from a backup on payment of a fee.

Kindly reply at the earliest.

No.
Once it was deleted, that's it.
Sorry.

Best advice is to never rely on anything on line when you are doing something as important as this. Us a computer based program and save that as often as possible.

It's not possible to help except by you using the advice.

Nobody writes the "GREAT AMERICAN NOVEL" in an email unless it is very short.

It really really is terrible that there is no way to recover drafts. I just spent over half an hour on one, and i selected text on the bottom line, and tried to click on it, but missed and clicked the delete key. This really sux!

superstar,

Even as a beginner I always used a word program if I thought I was going to be writing something that would take time or was long. Worked out that if the power failed it would not be fatal.

Thanks fellow frustrated users, it's good to know it's the program and not ME!

I don't even know what I lost just now when I accidentally hit the discard button but it seemed to be over a page long.  Probably not too important until 6 months from now when I might need it.

Why the hell is Google trying to act like the next Apple?  These clowns forget the most basic user-interface features.  Apple guilty of no sorting bookmarks, no sorting files in finder, and no deleted date in recycle bin.  Google guilty for linking youtube to google account and now for this asinine delete which doesn't utilize their own damn recycle bin!

Microsoft gets a lot of crap and much of it well deserved but at least they got every feature like a swiss army knife even if it is buggy and virus prone.
