Explain your issue in full detail here:
I can remember a place on the email page where you could delete more than one message at a time. Now, I have looked all over the page, and can't find anything to help me do this. Did Google take away this capability?

When you're on the index page for Inbox or any other label, you can click the "All" link to select everything on that page and then Delete.  There's also a link in Spam and Trash to clear the entire contents at one time.

I am looking all over the page, and I don't see anything that says "All".
