I have uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted and re-added accounts, and made sure to use the device specific passwords. I have rebooted the devices. I have connectivity, and I can send messages with other email accounts, and I can receive gmail messages, but when trying to SEND gmail, I consistently receive the message: The operation couldn’t be completed. (MCMailErrorDomain error 1030.) |

Which has been around for a while; let's hope that Apple are working on the problem? This page http://goo.gl/JAzuVh has a general discussion, and possible solution half way down. I was not aware that in Apple Mail there was a password field for both incoming and outgoing messages for each account. I went into preferences>accounts and placed the newly generated password in the correct field. I then clicked outgoing mail server (smtp)>edit smtp server list>advanced and placed my application specific password into the correct field there. |
