How Do I recover a disabled google account? towfeeq 9/20/11 7:14 PM
What is wrong with my account? It has been 3 days since my account has got Disabled. I filled up the contact-us form 4 times but ain't getting any response what so ever!
I tried what I could, but came undone every-time. I have contacted Matt Cutts through his blog, via a post which is at the link below.

The comment was approved but yet NO RESPONSE!

I have lost my only developing blog, google+ profile, and all the emails. Please help, what do I do now?

Just to let you know. Sometimes while I had some problems to access my account, google suggested me some changes - which is: Go to Range Menu, click on under the hood, then they tell to change something that I cannot understand (can't find it though). However, in my Proxy Settings it is selected that Direct Internet Connection. Should i change anything here???

Please help me about how I can get back my google account. Please, My blog was one of my earning sources and I am crying a lot for that! Please.................

I am using:
Operating system (Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick):
Program and version you use to access Gmail (chromium AKA Google Chrome 13):
extensions, toolbars or plug-ins: SeoMoz, Seoquake

What is the exact message received when trying to log into that account?
What options does it provide for account recovery (what URL does it send you to)?

It says: "If you've been redirected to this page from the sign-in page, it means that access to your Google Account has been disabled.

In most cases, accounts are disabled because of a perceived violation of either the Google Terms of Service or product-specific Terms of Service. Your account has not been deleted, your data is still intact, and it might be possible to regain access to your account."

The option it only provides: "Please start by reviewing the relevant Terms of Service. Then, if you think your account should not have been disabled, please contact us."

This is it!

Now I think I did violated a PRODUCT-SPECIFIC-POLICIES of google. Just a minute ago, I found one of my blog post : "Free SEO friednly Thesis theme for blogger". What I forgot is - I had to write "Thesis Like Theme for Blogger".  Only a missing word caused me that I guess. But there's also a question! If google finds something wrong with a blog, they just remove the blog but not the entire account! In my case, they removed the whole.

I just contacted google by saying that I will delete the post forever and I will remove it from Search engine results too. Hoping this time they will have mercy!

Do you know any other processes? Please, how can I beg a chance from google? I swear that I will delete the post.

Lastly, the template I had made for blogger was sort of exact replica of Thesis, and I offered it for free. Trust me, I didn't have any bad intention. Also, I am in a bit of doubt that someone may hack my google account (maybe Chris Pearson himself! Because I have seen him threatening Blogigs for making a theme like his Thesis. So, no one cannot trust him though!).

However, It was all my fault. I must've been sincere; now please help me to get a chance to get back my blog and delete the post about thesis. I apologies for all the mistakes I have done so badly!

The google account is: tofu.l...@gmail.com

I've been told you will need to follow the options given to you when you try to log in and fill out whatever form(s) are provided.  It's hard to be more specific as I can't see what you are seeing.

Thank you. But I don't have any options other than a Contact-us form. And I have filled it 4 times, I told them about possible mistakes that I had made. However, I am showing you what I am seeing...........................

**********Account has been disabled

If you've been redirected to this page from the sign-in page, it means that access to your Google Account has been disabled.

In most cases, accounts are disabled because of a perceived violation of either the Google Terms of Service new window or product-specific Terms of Service. Your account has not been deleted, your data is still intact, and it might be possible to regain access to your account.

Why Google disables accounts

Google wants to ensure that everyone has a chance to safely and securely connect and communicate. To help preserve this environment, Google reserves the right to:

  • Suspend a Google Account from using a particular product or the entire Google Accounts system if the Terms of Service new window or product-specific policies new window are violated.
  • Terminate your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

Next steps for disabled accounts

Please start by reviewing the relevant Terms of Service. Then, if you think your account should not have been disabled, please contact us.********************

Some anchor texts are there, Actually four. Lastly, it just have a contact-us link. And no other ways to contact. Whatever I do, they don't just reply. :(

But I don't have any options other than a Contact-us form.

Then I guess you can keep trying that, or give up and move on.  Sorry there's not another option.
