|Printing comments - Doc||kblair||5/21/10 7:06 AM|
I am using the Educ. version of Google Apps. I have a doc with many comments that I would like to share with someone who does not have a Google account (either by printing or exporting.) I do not see any option in the Print Settings to enable printing of comments in the newer version. Is there a way to do this?
What browser and OS are you using? OS 10.5.8 Firefox 3.6
Did clearing your cache and cookies resolve the issue? You can quickly clear your cache by refreshing your browser while holding the Shift key.
If your question is about documents or spreadsheets, were you using the new preview version? new version

Thanks for posting and sorry you're having this problem. Unfortunately you cannot print or export comments to PDF at this time. We're actively improving the new, preview version of Google Documents -- like all Google products.
In the meantime, you can export your comments in a .doc file and may be able to then print that file.
Thanks for posting!

Thanks! I did not realize that when exported as a .doc the comments would be there. That is exactly what I was looking for!
