I have multiple lines of text within a cell and want to strikethrough certain lines, not the whole cell.

Similarly
- how to highlight different words within a cell with separate colour back-/fore-grounds?
- how to apply bold, larger font size and a different font only on one word of the sentence in a cell?

In Google Docs spreadsheets Rich text formatting is not available, you can only format an entire cell, not parts of it.
