rais17, check if the problem websites occur in another browser, like Internet Explorer or Firefox.
|rais17||3/4/10 8:38 AM|
yes it works in internet explorer

Users have reported some issue with Windows 7. Try the following:
Make sure Chrome is not running in compatibility mode. Right click on Chrome icon and select Properties.
Disable Windows 7 UAC in Control Panel and see if webpage will load.

Thanks, rais17. To get rid of the certificate warning, go to Wrench icon > Under the hood. At the bottom, uncheck Check for server revocation.

Solution: Change the system date to current one.
|doctorhazard||6/13/11 9:34 AM|
The system time is off. Please fix your system clock to fix this issue.
|rohitoct19||6/21/11 8:05 PM|
change the date to present one and ((Error 201 (net::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID): Unknown error.)) will be gone :)
|jpgilman||7/5/11 6:56 AM|
BEFORE you do potentially UNSAFE things like disabling Windows 7 UAC, MAKE SURE YOUR SYSTEM DATETIME IS CORRECT. Check the little clock in the bottom right of the Windows taskbar.

There is something else going on. A lot more users have this issue right now. it has something to do with an update of Windows. I'm seeing on Twitter more problems with this.

How do I change the system time? Do I do it manually (which won't be synced to true time)? I tried going to the "Internet Time" tab but that didn't work... Someone please help.

are you on windows 7? if yes click the time at the bottom right corner of the screen, then click change date and time settings, then click the tab that says internet time at the top right of that window, then press change settings, then press update now, and if it comes up with error, close it and do it again until it works.
worked for me :) hope it does for you

I had the same problem, and I used the advice in this thread to change the date and time. It worked :). My date was in 2008 x__x.
