Google Chrome version 13.0.782.220 (Official Build 99552) m
Operating System: Windows 7 HOme Premium

Please describe your question/comment in detail (for example, steps to reproduce the problem):  On any web page, if I print by hitting CNTL P, or selecting Print from the tool dropdown menu, the print dialog box opens, as it should.  On the left at the bottom, there's an option to print in either color or black and white.  It always defaults to black and white, which to me is not the way most people would want to print.  I have to select solor every time I print.  It doesn't matter which printer I select.  Even if I select PDF Creator, it always defaults to black and white.  How do I  get it to do the sane thing, and default to color?

Same problem here as well. Select 'black & white', and what do you know... comes out in colour every single time!

To dank_ross - Not me.  If I select black and white, I get black and white, not color.

But - I may have a clue as to what's going on - Perhaps google is intentionally making this difficult.  That is, in the list of printers, there is now a 'Print to PDF' option that I only see when printing from Chrome.  And it prints in color.  As a matter of fact, for the 'Print to PDF' option, there is no color/black & white option.

Have you noticed that no one from google has commented on this thread?  Their actions and inactions align with them quietly trying to drive us to using their PDF printer.

Well.. my problem is even worst... I do not have the option to select color or black an white... It just keep in black an white... And that´s it! I can only print on color with the option PDF from Google... I cannot use my own PDF because it comes in black and white!

My issue is similar.  Chrome has a unique menu on top of the printer menu - which in my case defaults to Color printing.  While the printer itself defaults to B&W - Chrome overrides that setting so I run thru the more expensive color printing - even though the page is B&W.  Note that IE does not have this menu, so it just uses the default set at the printer.  How can this default be changed in Chrome?  This is a reason for me to change back to IE as it is costing me money.
