well in order to make it save your password for facebook, you have to click on the wrench looking icon at the top right corner just below the close button.. once you click on the wrench a list should appear saying: new tab, new window, etc ... go down to options and click on it once... the google chrome box should appear.. (this is basically the control pannel for google chrome)... now click on minor tweaks and there should b a small part there that says passwords.. u can adjust your settings from there..

i hope this helps out ... if it didnt then send me a message at mackda...@gmail.com

1)Find the wrench in the upper right hand corner of Chrome browser, select "Options"
2)Click the "Personal Stuff" tab
3)Click the "Show Saved Passwords" button
4)Click the "Exceptions" tab.  In the "Site" box, select the URL of the site(Facebook must be there)
5)Click the "Remove" button. Close the browser and re-open.
6)Navigate to site and enter your password. Chrome should ask if you want to save the username and password.

Note: This happens when you login on some site & chrome offers you to 'Save your password' and you click on 'Never for this site'
