|Google Chrome not working despite reinstalling||Miilee||11/14/10 1:07 PM|
Google Chrome version 7.0.517.44 (Official Build 64615)
Operating System: Windows 7
Error Message: Error 10 (net::ERR_ACCESS_DENIED): Unknown error.
My Chrome suddenly stopped working one fine day. Looks like it can't figure out that I'm connected to the net. My Firefox opens the sites I want. However, at the same time, Chrome keeps telling me that "This Webpage is Not Available"
I thought there must be an issue in the program files so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Did this more than a couple of times but the results are the same. Unable to use Chrome for over a week now..... desperately wanna get back to it... :(

This error message usually means your firewall or anti-virus program is blocking Chrome.

Chrome started acting wierd (WinVista) by constantly crashing. Could do 1 or 2 sites then '...not responding (crash)'. I've gone through the 'restore' button when calling chrome back up to just x'ing out of it and restarting fresh. I've uninstalled reinstalled.
Now, sites aren't fully accessable; for instance I can go to FaceBook but can't access the 'messages' page, but can do so with Explorer or Safari. When on Video CoPilot cannot download files using Chrome but can with any other browser.
I like Chrome but think I'll go back to Safari or Explorer (since they've come out with new version). Just way too busy to be jerking around with bouncing between browsers.
