|Why is Whitesmoke web search hijacking my Google chrome home page and how do I drive a stake through it's heart?||Brodyy||2/2/12 11:55 AM|
Google Chrome version (type about:version into the address bar):Operating System:Error Message:Extensions installed:I' using Google Chrome edition 16.0.912.77 m using windows 7 on a quad core computer with 8 gigs of RAM and a GTX280 graphics card. I have used Google Chrome in the past and like it but lately Whitesmoke web Search has added itself to my pages to start. I didn't add it and don't want it and if Google keeps doing this then I will gladly go back to using Mozilla Firefox. I've gone to options and removed Whitesmoke repeatedly and it keeps coming back. Fix it or stop it or I'm going to uninstall Google and tell all my Facebook buddies how happy I am with Google and see if they want to go back to Firefox to. Thank you for your immediate help in this matter.
