|I wish the tabs where below the bookmark tool bar.||10010010011||3/5/10 9:38 AM|
First off, i love FF. But Chrome is so fast, and it integrates well with all my google crap.
If you want me to continue to love chrome, here is what i would like fixed.
1. Move the tabs below the Favorites toolbar. The reason for this is that i leave all my tabs open all the time. When i switch toa specific one i have to move my mouse cursor and EXTRA 1 inch higher, which isnt that big of a deal, but if you Multiply that by 300 clicks a day, by 365 days a year, by 60 years left in my life you get and extra 1825 feet. And how much adds to carpel tunnel? who knows, but what i do know is that your making me work harder. which sucks for such an easy fix.
2. when you click on the article in google reader to go to the story, it always goes to that tab. Can you make it so it just opens in a new tab and does NOT switch pages. I know you can right click and open in new tab, but again thats an extra mouse click.

I doubt you'll be able to do that in any browser for very long. All of the other browser companies are trying to make their browser look like Chrome.

If all browsers look and work the same, why do we need more than one?

I installed Chrome few days ago and the thing I love most on Chrome are the tabs on top of the screen. :-) But of course customization of the location of tabs would be nice...

You can middle click to open in a new tab, rather than right click and selecting open in a new tab.
Also would like the options to move the tabs under the Location or Bookmarks toolbars

Two words. Remote desktop. Try to use chrome in a fullscreen windows remote desktop session. Either the center tabs are covered by the pinned toolbar or the unpinned toolbar slides down when you try to select the tabs in the center. VERY ANNOYING!!! :)

Yes this is a major problem with remote desktop. Remote desktop panel toolbar gets in the way every time you are wanting to switch tabs. Why can't we have the OPTION to move the tabs BELOW the address bar??
