Hide the navigation and address bar.... Everything except for the tabs... eph6vs10 12/18/09 5:44 AM
How can I hide the back/forward/refresh/home/address/menu icons? Basically, I want to see as much of the page as possible.
If this is possible, what should happen is when I hit CTRL+L, the toobar should scroll/fade in for navigation, then fade out again.

Thanks.

Press F11 to go full screen

Yeah, full screen, but full screen has some issues. In any other browser, I can hit CTRL+L to bring up an address bar. In Chrome - you can't.
How it SHOULD work is that full screen hides everything, but when CTRL+L or some other combo is hit, the address bar, tabs, and bookmarks slide into place,
then - when the address has been typed in, it slides away.

I'm having issues with this problem--hiding the nav bar and calling it with Ctrl+L when needed--at the moment. Since Chrome is open source software, someone must know how to tweak Chrome to achieve this end. At the moment, I’m going through the code and will return as soon as I find where the coding for the nav bar is. Perhaps comparing the code between Chrome and Firefox will provide some answer to this dilemma or completely copying Firefox code into chrome will do it too. Since both apps are open source this is legal. Let's see where this takes us...
