If you don't read Arabic, how dow you know which tab is the Minor Tweaks tab?  It's in Arabic, which the questioner may or may not be able to read.

Read the instructions on this link (reference). It will show you how to change the language, even if you don't understand the current language.

Assume that you are using Windows. Start -> Run->intl.cpl (Alternatively via control pannel -> Regional Languages Options ->) under  Standards and Formats Choose English. Restart the chrome should be ok now.

@Hartuvium  Thanks for your input this helped me out how to figure out the next step.  Once I got to step 7,  the language options only allowed me to choose from limited languages and I chose Netherlands since it didn't have an English (United States) option.  I accepted all changes and restarted chrome google which was in the Netherlands format.  I went through the prompt again to change the language, and this time, it allowed me to change it to English (United States).  Once I accepted all of the changes, I closed and opened chrome google again and what do you know.. it was in English!  (Windows 7 user)

Hi everyone,

Thanks for providing help so far on this! We have another thread similar to this post which has a picture to explain how to get to the language setting.

As a result, I'm going to close this thread. Please take a look at the thread below in my references.

Cheers,
Tomoya
