|amazon.com is being blocked by either Chrome or IE9||NeedMoney||12/29/11 10:45 AM|
I have Google Chrome and IE9 and Firefox 9 installed on Windows 7. Both Chrome and IE9 are blocking amazon.com. I examined the Proxy settings from within Chrome which takes me to the Windows settings. There I went into Sites and found amazon.com was being blocked. I removed it from the list, and actually made a new entry to allow amazon.com, saved, exited, launched either program, or both, and still no amazon.com. It shows up as supposed to be allowed by both browsers, but no dice. Firefox9 allows the site to be displayed just fine. I've emptied cookies, cache, browsing history, disabled my firewall temporarily, but nothing I have checked so far has resolved the amazon.com blockage. It's almost like something has been installed which is doing the blocking for these 2 apps, but is hidden from view.
