Stop video download, play in browser Batsy2 2/6/10 10:30 AM
I used to be able to watch video in Chrome when I clicked on a video file link.  Now Chrome downloads the file to my documents and I have to open the file and watch it in Windows Media Player.  I have updated java, installed windows media player plugin, and updated flash to fix the problem, but nothing has worked.  What and where is the setting to get video files to play in Chrome instead of downloading the file?

Try installing the appropriate Firefox plugin - Chrome likes to borrow Firefox plugins when they're available. You might have to have Firefox for this to work, I haven't tried updating Firefox plugins without Firefox installed myself...
