How do I uninstall Google Update service?
Well after uninstalling Google Chrome it stays installed in the manchine, and I would like to uninstall/delete this servcice/application after uninstalling Chrome, I don't use any other Google's product.

Did you have the option to 'help make google better by sending usage stats....' checked in the options?
If you did then re-install chrome. uncheck the option then uninstall again.
Also do you have any other google products like google toolbar, google earth etc. I think they also use google update.

Nope, and as far as I know Chrome Canary build doesn't have that option and certainly I'm not using any other product from google at the moment.

Simply GoogleUpdate and delete it. And also unchek the Google Update option from the startup service(type msconfig into the run and go to startup tab) and uncheck the GoogleUpdate.exe

Google canary does have that option. It's in the under the hood/bonnet section of the options.
A while ago when google chrome was quite new and I didn't like it I had the same problem as you. Google update wouldn't uninstall.
The only way I could get rid of it was to re-install chrome. Uncheck that option then uninstall chrome again.
