I just got a new work computer and want to migrate my settings over so all my remembered sites, bookmarks, etc... comes over cleanly.

if you search the web I believe that someone made a backup and restore 3rd party application to work with chrome, you might try that.

For bookmarks, see:

As for browsing history, passwords, etc, you could try:

(Windows XP)
1. Click on "My Computer".

2. In the address bar copy and paste the following path:
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data

Note: Replace "<username>" with the name of the Windows user (e.g. "<username>" => "John")

3. Copy all the contents in that directory and paste it into the the same path but on the other computer.

(Windows Vista)
Same as above but the path is:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data

Don't forget to replace "<username>" with the Windows user's account name (e.g. "<username>" => "John").

Hi,

Doing the above doesn't work for passwords. Is there anyway to transfer Chrome with its password data base. Or any export Options?

Thanks

How can the migration of Chome settings be done in Mac OS X?  Where are the settings located?

Yes, that doesn't work for passwords.

There's yet another method for those like me that use different OS simultaneously on their machine:

@ TTrendz-Tech, on my computer, the Default profile is located under /Users/myusername/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/

With firefox you could just copy the contents of this over, I haven't tried it with Chrome but I hope it is that simple.
