What link is sending you to another browser?

My only browser is Google Chrome.  I am thinking of re-installing Firefox.  I am not being sent to another browser.  When I try to open a link in my email, I have to copy and paste.

Click on the control panel and click on programs > default programs and set Chome as the default.

Getting on the web before learning your computer is like trying to be a race car driver before you learn how to drive. Take some time to learn the basics of your computer and you'll always be glad you did.

I had tried the control panel default setting and it doesnt do any good.  In frustration (and in light of Chromes other problems), Ive gone back to Firefox.

If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7, it may help to run Google Chrome as an administrator - to do this simply right click on the shortcut to Google Chrome, and select "run as administrator". While running as admin. set Chrome as the default. The setting should stick.

Im using Windows XP.  I tried using administrator , but my program is corrupted (or, so I was told).  Anyway, I kept Chrome and downloaded Firefox and theres no problem any longer.
