|How force Google online to sync with data from new calendar in Android phone?||JosephN||6/7/10 6:29 PM|
New Android phone. Syncs to MS Outlook on PC with HTCSync. Outlook calendar data goes into phone calendar called "PC Sync." Google's online calendar, which syncs with phone, sees only the calendar called "us...@gmail.com."
Creating a PC Sync calendar on Google only served to create two calendars with that name on the device.
Deleting the "us...@gmail.com" calendar on the device had no effect.
The data brought over from Outlook won't sync with Google online.
Resetting the phone:
I think that factory resetting the phone and reestablishing the appropriate identities among Google online, the phone, and the sync process would fix things, but I don't know the proper sequence to follow. It doesn't look like I can change the name or hidden attributes to the PC-synced data, so I would have to somehow change what Google is looking for when it syncs up with my phone.

+1 to this question.
Frustrating that for what's supposed to be a cloud based solution, so much data only resides on the phone and won't sync up to the cloud.
Anyone found a solution to this yet?
