What is the update frequency for subscribed calendars? Now that I'm syncing with my iphone, I'd really like the subscribed calendars to update more often. For instance, I added some events to my [non-Google] calendar this morning, to which Google Calendar has a subscription, but the new events do not yet show on my Google calendar. It's been nearly two hours since I added the events.

The events finally synced. It looks like the schedule/frequency may be 6 hours. It would be nice to have this customizable per calendar.

I'm having the same problem. I published my iCal to a remote server (webcal://icalx.com) and then pointed Google to the proper address. Google isn't refreshing this calendar and the problem arises when I use my Google Sync on BlackBerry and I can't see what I'm supposed to be doing for the day while I'm on the go. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Is there any official response to the frequency that Google calendar automatically updates subscribed calendars? Ideally there should be a 'Refresh' button in the Other Calendar settings.

I love the fact that the best answer listed, is a question.  I guess the answer is 6 hours based upon one of the answers.  Having so many calendars constantly updating is probably a tax on the system.  Although, I don't understand why it couldn't get updated every time someone tried to access it.  As long as the calendar is created under Google Calendar it isn't a problem.

This is annoying in the extreme. I wish there could be some immediate coordination with other calendar apps. It would make gCal more useful.
