Boy am I glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this.  I was seriously freaking out... I have close to 30 reviews, all 5 stars, and the best reputation of any computer tech in my area.  And they're all suddenly gone, along with my listing! :-(

PLEASE HELP Google!
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. Linda Buquet ~ 5/3/12 8:19 PM
I know it's hard, but stuff like this happens sometimes. Also be advised it can be a really bad idea to try to tweak your listing when there are problems.
So best advice, don't make any changes, just sit tight and give the engineers time to work on a fix.

Linda

Yeah, I wish this post had been up earlier.  I tried changing the address and then quickly changed it back after seeing this posting.

Fingers crossed that nothing bad comes of this, as my business truly depends upon it...

Hi Vanessa,

We are having the same problem with 3 of our main UK locations.

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. GRRRRR!!!!! 5/4/12 3:39 AM
If you are like me you have reason to freak out. My listing is still down and I have ALWAYS been at the top of my keywords. This brings me business almost DAILY. Now my business is nowhere to be seen. God, I hope they fix this soon.

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. GRRRRR!!!!! 5/4/12 4:02 AM
Is there any possibility we all did something wrong in programming our place page? Too may similar key words or something to that effect?

I have created a new Google Place page, programmed it EXACTLY as my Place Page that is missing and my pin number is on it's way to me.

I have made Place Pages for business associates and friends of mine and had their Place Page show within a day of getting the Pin number in the mail.

People, we may be in for a "Pin number wait" if we all have to re-create our Place Pages.
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. GRRRRR!!!!! 5/4/12 4:12 AM
Also, while we are all on the subject and freaking out, as it were, have any of you made any changes to Maps recently?

My former company name was still showing on maps and I asked it be removed, but was very specific that they not to remove Franken Signs as well. They listed my former business as "closed" and now Franken Signs is GONE.

Just FYI.
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. mkat64 5/4/12 4:31 AM
Hi Vanessa,

Linda was looking into the issue with what happened to my place page last night.  With my situation, I received a call to verify address, and then it was gone so I was wondering if I will be able to have it reinstated if if was removed because of the address thing which she suspect it was removed because of that or was my issue the bug same as the others.  If this bug is removed and my page is still not accessible, who do I get to help me with that?

I just got and-mail that said we will be updating your info soon an to make sure it is updated in the feed but the only places I know where to update is my place page and the analytics page.  Am I missing something?

I too, have always appears high in the rankings and have lost my reviews.

Please can someone advise me what to do?

Thanks
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. GRRRRR!!!!! 5/4/12 4:50 AM
My suggestion: Rebuild your place page TODAY and get your pin on it's way to you.

If your Place Page comes back in the meantime, don't use your new pin and delete the new Place Page you created today.

If the Pin arrives before your Place Page comes back, (if indeed it ever does) delete your old account and Place Page.
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. mkat64 5/4/12 4:55 AM
Linda suggested not to do that ,that it could make matters worse and create more confusion.  This is so frustrating.  I always have had issues right after i get those calls.  Information not appearing correctly and discrepancies from what the public see than what I have I my place page.  It has been a monumental nightmare.

I guess I'll wait to see if it's up in a few days as they recommended and go from there.
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. GRRRRR!!!!! 5/4/12 5:04 AM
There is no harm in creating a new Place Page if you do not activate it. I am going proactive on this issue.

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. mkat64 5/4/12 5:35 AM
It should be in the help forum.  Where there are links for troubleshooting and to report a problem.  When you click the link to report a problem, it will bring you to different options.  The option menu will have My listing contains incorrect info, not able to edit etc.
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. mkat64 5/4/12 5:42 AM
I forgot to mention that there is a separate link to report a problem for business owners, you will report a problem by going there.  Hope this helps.

My listing is gone as well, after 10 years of singing google praises I am pissed off. "We do not support this location." should never have happened. This is my livelihood. This is how I make a living. My customers all use their smart phones and right now searching for Guitar Lab Wilmington, NC gives them nothing. I was at the top when searches for Guitar Repair Wilmington, NC and now only my competition is shown. PLEASE FIX THIS! How can it show up perfectly on Bing and not here? What are you guys doing??

Same problem for me...

I registered successfully a few months ago and my business appeared on the places map and now all of a sudden - it doesn't. Also, Google searches for my business don't return any direct results as they did previously?

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. GRRRRR!!!!! 5/4/12 6:49 AM
I agree. I am in Charlotte, NC. I am dang near out of business without this Place Page. Who is responsible for this "glitch" if indeed that is what this is?

Google doesn't have a telephone number for this kind of issue and I find that CRIMINAL.

I know this doesn't cost us anything, but Google has no right to arbitrarily delete a functioning business listing that owners depend on.

HOW ABOUT AN UPDATE VANESSA?
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. GRRRRR!!!!! 5/4/12 7:10 AM
Joel, have you made any changes recently to Google Maps or had any recent contact with Google Maps?
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. MichaelBorgelt 5/4/12 7:12 AM
Vanessa,

What is the recommended course of action with this?  Do you want us to wait until you let us know the "fix" has been applied?  Do you want us to use the "Report A Problem" link?  Post issues with our clients here? Or should we recreate a Google Places listing?  I am assuming wait to hear from you based on your title "Sit tight" but please let us know so we can help with the process.

I would not recommend creating a new Places listing until we get an update

Thanks!
Michael
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. btbtgreene 5/4/12 7:13 AM
I just about to re-run my adwords express ad again, but had the same issue everyone else has had. I spoke with a rep in the adwords express dept since my ad is associated with my main listing (that is now gone) and she said it had to do with the merging of associated listings. She was trying to help and was really sweet, but of course as with any large company she didn't have access to fix it.  We both of these listing types do to operating business under brand as well as Dr. names in community. I was just about to spend some serious bank on my adwords express account, but this has really put a damper on that. They need to quit screwing with things without letting us know the effects of their changes.

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. m_simcox 5/4/12 7:20 AM
I HIGHLY suggest you diversify your advertising model if you will go out of business because your places page is not showing up for a few days. Your margins sound way too thin if you cant survive an ERROR with some programming. I realize that it is costing you money, but if your only advertising method for what i'm assuming is a sign business based on your nick name, is based on a free listing with google, then you will most assuredly fail in the long run.

"I know this doesn't cost us anything" - You get what you pay for.
"Google has no right to arbitrarily delete a functioning business listing that owners depend on." - They haven't deleted ANYTHING.

That said. Chill out, take a deep breath, they said they are working on it, which if you have experienced this in the past then you will know that just acknowledging it on their part is a step in the right direction. Usually we don't hear anything from them for quite some time.

And a response to your earlier post about creating a new listing and requesting a PIN to be sent, that's BAD advice for MANY reasons, one of which is that its against google's quality guidelines to have them associated to your account, even if they are not published. I cannot find the exact reference to back up this claim and i'm not going to spend more than the time it has taken to write this response as I have to get back to work.

However it says " We currently do not support the location"

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. Rodka 5/4/12 7:42 AM
Just a small point; every place page that we put up and maintain gives Google 4 paying advert spaces. Business owners have a symbiotic relationship with Google. Both parties gain.
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. Joshua Mackens 5/4/12 7:45 AM
I am experiencing this as well. We received a new PIN in the mail today when we didn't request one. I don't know if someone else tried to claim our account or if there is a bug or what but considering no one else had mentioned this here and it was an oddity, I thought it worth mentioning.

I want to offer a little solace to everyone in the forum experiencing this problem. I've seen wonders since Vanessa came on board and I imagine she is working extremely hard to get this situation resolved. Everything just needs time and that's especially true with Google Places, as we all know. It'll be okay guys, just let some time pass.

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. Rodka 5/4/12 8:00 AM
One of the benefits of place pages is the map links from home to the venue that is listed.

This is particularly important for us as otherwise it would mean adding a Bing map link to each of our venue addresses.

Now that our place pages have disappeared it means that people have to use other websites to locate us.

Meh, your opinion of me does not affect anything(and by the way, I am NOT a LITTLE a-hole, I can admit it). but what I said is true, don't put all your eggs in one basket. If your places page being gone for a few days puts you out of business then that simple thing should make you WANT to diversify your advertising.

If you still want to freak out about it, go spend $400+/hour on a lawyer and let them tell you how far you will get with any lawsuit against Google.

Just sit back and let Google work on it. Your places listing will come back and nothing will have changed, except you spending the day running around screaming "the sky is falling, the sky is falling!"

Okay, so you're a FAT freaking little coward who hides behind some fake name so you can have carte blanche to spew your condemnation without fear of reprisal.

I do not depend wholly on Google for ALL of my business but I had dozens of requests for my location just last week. My customers need to find me. As my average sale is $3K-$4K this is of great concern.

There are other ways to give your opinion without the necessity to level personal attacks. GSo, dot back to work and STFU.

"We currently do not support the location"
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. Joshua Mackens 5/4/12 8:40 AM
Right now this is very widespread it seems.

To get an idea of how widespread this is, I have a client that gained 30 spots in their ranking today for one extremely competitive keyword and 5-15 spots for all their others. At first I attributed this gain to the optimization we've been going through for them but then I looked closer and realized that while that may be the case, it is also possible that 30 businesses in their area just dropped like they were shot and are no longer showing up.

Then, I checked on my other clients and saw that about half of them are experiencing a complete drop from the Google Places rankings.

Due to the massive response this thread is getting combined with what I've seen, the scope of this problem is more widespread than I first realized. This may be a major issue that we're dealing with right now affecting thousands of businesses. Time will tell.

OKAY PEOPLE:

I am in contact with 2 departments on this issue. Maps and Places. Starting to get some feedback from both departments. I am starting to feel a little better about what is going on, this does seem to be a widespread anomaly.

Those of us who depend heavily on Google traffic here is some hint of hope from a contact at Google Places. Still wish they had a phone number.

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. Joshua Mackens 5/4/12 9:02 AM
When was the last time you verified the listings was working correctly? This is a common bug resulting from incorrectly merged listings. If this hasn't happened within the last 24 hours or so, it's probably just a normal Google Places issue. If it has been within the last 24 hours, it may be the result of the "fix" they're going through, though I imagine that's highly unlikely.

My listing for Chalk Fitness has disappeared as well.

780 South Van Buren Street
Placentia CA 92870

We had to start a new page.  We would like the old page restored with our 29 five star reviews.  We were ranked highly in our area and would like to get that back.
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. emmanuelm 5/4/12 12:56 PM
Crazy thing is that this channel was a great source of business for us.  People literally walked in off the street from the Google Maps listing without anything else.  This loss directly affects our bottom line.
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. Linda Buquet ~ 5/4/12 12:57 PM
Folks as we've stated several times DON'T start a new Place page and don't tweak your listing.
This is a temporary outage and only the engineers can fix it. Tweaking can do more harm than good.

If you setup a new Place page it will create new problems for you. It can cause you to LOSE all your reviews because reviews are tied to the CID# of your existing Place page!
It also can cause the new listing to have start over for 6 weeks before it even shows up in rankings at all - which is a huge set back if you are already ranking!
ADDITIONALLY it creates a dupe in your account which is against the guidelines and could get you suspended.

Trust me when I say you can do more harm than good! You just need to be patient and wait for a fix.

Horror. Absolute horror. For 3 years we've had a place page presence. Now 45 of our 50 place pages yield "We currently do not support this location" and don't even appear in Google Maps. And the handful that do appear in Google Maps have nothing but a name & address. Needless to say, the lack of a timely resolution from the tech giant is highly disappointing.

"And the handful that do appear in Google Maps have nothing but a name & address."

Could you please drop a couple links to those. I'd like to investigate to see if they help solve the puzzle or give the engineers anything new to work on.

Thanks, Linda

@Imaldonado Yum food looks good in that listing that works ! :-)

The others that are weird looking are FTID listings instead of CID listings. I call FTID listings remnant listings. And they are just temporary remnants from listings after they have been deleted I believe.
So I think those listings may have been deleted for some reason.

Question: Above you've labeled them with city names like: fatz asheville nc.
Is that how it's listed in the dashboard? Or did you just add city for me descriptively?
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. lmaldonado 5/4/12 8:47 PM
Hi Linda. Yes, our food is yum indeed!  The terms are the search terms I used to get Google's results. Used to get place pages in the SERPs for all such location searches and instead mostly get those you say may have been deleted. They all show fine in the dashboard with the exception that one can't view the listing on most. Never received any warning or deletion notices.

Just did a search on Safari from my mobile after seeing others stating their pages were fixed. I see the place pages of the 2 sample locations are showing, so maybe things are fixed. I'll check them all in the AM to make sure and will report status. Thanks for the follow-up!

My site's back up, but before I realized this was a bug I edited my account and (stupidly) made a change to my addy.  So I'm waiting on a postcard, but in the meantime I see my listing is back up without the edit I made while dashboard still shows my listing requiring verification.  Also, the PIN box for validation is not visible.  I submitted a ticket, but can anyone here offer any help?

My Place page was gone too and this AM it's back. I'm seeing a few reports saying the same, so fingers crossed the fix is rolling out to all.

@dogbite00, could be due to the bug, but I've seen others report that problem and don't know the solution offhand, but think I've seen others that seemed to know what to do.

Wait til you get PIN, see if box shows up by then. If still a prob start a new thread with a descriptive subject, don't post and bury it in this thread.

Hi Vanessa,

I have been trying to fix my issues using advice that I have gotten on the ADVICE help site.  I have duplicate listings and my reviews are on the listing that has the wrong address.  I have "we do not support this location" on one of them.  Everything is a mess right now.  Every time I verify the listing to change the address with the new pin, the reviews seem to move to the one with the wrong address.  I now seem to have 3 listings for my company and am unable to delete any of them.  If there is any way you can help me sort this out, I will be most grateful.  I have used the "report a problem" link and have used the report a duplicate with the URLs and provided explanation asking them to merge reviews into my listing with the correct address.

Note: Users in the forum can't help if you don't give them all the details. Please provide the following information.

What's the issue you're experiencing?

I just noticed my Google Places page is gone.  When I went to the Google Places Help page it show a box at the top saying I removed my listing.  I did not.

On my places dashboard it shows PENDING REVIEW.   UPDATE:  By clicking edit, I was able to reactivate it, but when I click on the link to view it, I get the
"We currently do not support this location".

Baffled and a little pissed as it has been up for about as long as places has been offered, I followed all the rules, verified it to my phone number, have good reviews, and promote it as a link in every email I send out in my signature.

Where can I find answers.

@inkyts Your issue I don't believe is related to the problem this thread is about so this post with your UNIQUE problem is buried in a thread with 100 other posts about a totally different problem.
We can't really address it here or it will throw the whole thread off topic.

Best to continue to try to get help in ONE of your existing threads. Just trying to be helpful. When you start posting in lots of different threads it's sort of a scatter gun approach that
does not work in your best interest. When you keep it in one thread we can see all your previous posts which can help us diagnose what's up.

So I would pick whichever previous post has the most info and add your post above to it. And I'll try to find it when you do and tell you how to get help in that thread.

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. Linda Buquet ~ 5/5/12 1:05 PM
The do not support problem happens for a variety of reasons.

Many (but likely not all) of the users in this thread that all had the problem at the same time were affected by the bug.
But some of you could have the problem for other reasons, in which case the bug fix won't help.

HOWEVER Vanessa said we need to wait til Sun or Mon for the fix to fully roll out. Right this second there is no way of knowing if the fix has just not gotten to your listing yet OR if you have other problems.

So here's what I suggest... if your listing comes back, please DO let us know in this thread.

If your listing is still down, please wait til Monday THEN let us know it's still down.

If Vanessa confirms the bug fix was fully rolled out by then, then you likely will need to just follow the instructions in the 'other' thread about the standard protocol for do not support errors.
But let's wait til Monday to see if the fix corrects your listing and then go from there.

Linda

I actually did start my own thread.  However there was no response.  It is obvious something has gone haywire. I did try and figure it out for myself, and became aware of the issue when I clicked on my places link (which I include as part of my email signature).  I got this message "We currently do not support this location".  When went to my places DASHBOARD, I saw that my business was listed as PENDING.  (STRANGE AS IT HAS BEEN LISTED FOR AT LEAST A COUPLE YEARS).  I clicked on the GOOGLE PLACES HELP link and got a box at the top saying I removed my listing.   I did not remove my listing....   After waiting a day for someone to respond to my issue from the help contact system, I decided to click the edit button on my listing.  I did not change anything, I just click submit, and my listing went from pending to active.  But when you click the VIEW YOUR LISTING link I get the "We currently do not support this location" message.   So, I would like to remain active in this tread as I feel it is connected.  I just want to know what to do or how to resolve this issue.

Hi Vanessa, this bug message appeared right after I had gotten my PIN and was looking forward to having my officially claimed, newly enhanced Places listing go live. I have read the thread and someone else mentioned getting their PIN and then, the "no supported" message, like me. My places listing, since I entered the PIN, says "active" in my accunt, but the  view-your-page link gives me the "not supported" message. Does this sound like the bug mentioned in this thread? My business is

Bidlack Creative Group
2300 Washtenaw Avenue
Suite 200
Ann Arbor, MI 48104

and here is the faulty link, FWIW

interestingly,
my old business address at
617 Detroit St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104
is suddenly visible again, and I thought that we had successfully changed it to the new address several months ago.

I'm so confused, aargh.
Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. ehg 5/5/12 11:20 PM
nope chrisbidlack you are not affected by  a bug  and not at all by the  one which was fixed  yesterday.
Its normal for all entries recently being PIN verified  getting the status "aktive" AND "not support" for about a week.
Wait patiently this week. I bet the entry ist online  then.
Ifo not start new thread for your entry.
a supplement Chrisbidlack:
The message of your listing is coming as explained in here:

@DrGeorge33:
nobody is touching manually any single affected accounts  (affected by the bug).
There is a general fix released - it should help for all affected accounts (affected by the recently bug only)
This fix will not help if you just have verified your entry in the last couple of days.
In that  case the message "We currently do not support this location" on your listing is quite normal.

See and learn more  here then and wait the announced week.
If after that time the message still comes it may happen due to other reasons.
Then you could start a new thread about this.
Regards
ehg

Listings that were just PIN verified, either new listings or ones that had to re-verify due to editing can show as do not support for up to a week. That is NORMAL, not part of this bug.

Sometimes the do not support location message comes up when there are other problems with a listing (not related to this specific bug).

You need to wait til Monday for an update from Vanessa. IF she says yes, everyone that was affected by the specific bug that hit Thursday should be fixed now.
THEN if you are still seeing the do not support message - follow the instructions in the thread below.

BUT WAIT - don't do anything yet, because if your listing was affected by the recent bug, we need to see if the fix corrects it first.

Thank you very much for the clarification, ehg.
Sounds like the normal PIN verification process in my case, then.
I will sit tight for a week and not be so impatient :-)

Thanks for being patient, all. Let's give this another day (Monday end of day) to see that your issues get fixed. If they don't get fixed, then I'm going to advise you to get in touch with the support team directly (instead of continuing to post on this thread) using these contact forms:

No, you need to wait for the verification PIN to get your new listing up and running.

Any update on this? I work for a college and the main site listing has been removed. Now only the college's tennis center is showing. People are calling the tennis center instead of the college's main phone number. This needs to be fix.

Hi Vanessa,
Been going on for me for two months now. Still never any real answers, can you please help? Listing is (http://maps.google.com/maps/place?cid=11214608482519351108

The e-mails I get say that I need to edit my maps listing in Google places. I have but they do not show up. Have not for two months now. Comes on with partial info and just the city I live in with no address when it does start to work, but does not come up with any keyword searches. Comes and goes between the partial listing on Maps to the infamous "We currently do not support this location" several times now. Have received at least two phone calls from Google asking if my business is located at my address. Last call came last Thursday. No change still. Currently says "We currently do not support this location" and last week was the partial listing. Never in the last two months has any keyword searches worked, just have had to type my business name in to the search in maps to get any results. That does not really help me because people just get my wed site organically that way.

Running out of work and patience, can you e-mail me at owen.b...@gmail.com with any help at all, please?

People don't get exited about her post just yet. This has been a problem of mine for some time now and no reply from Google what so ever except the non reply e-mails that don't even address the real problem. Starting to think Google has gotten so big they just don't care, kind of like at the DMV!

Thanks,
Owen

Everything was fine with my listing until after I got a phone call from Google this morning, now it's gone,  Location not supported!

Someone from Google called at 08:30 AM with a non-English speaking accent

After several times asking him to repeat what he wanted because I couldn't understand him.
He asked my location,  I gave him the address below.

I check my listing at least twice a week. I rank in the top three for my area

I told him not to mess with it, it was fine,  but now not appearing on maps.  So he obviously did something.

What is going on here????

Dashboard is still active.

Hello,

My legitimate business is (as many others here) as of 2 days ago, not showing in Places AND when I am in my places account and click to look at my "place" it says (location not supported).  I understand it is a bug (why the bugs can't remove the 4-5 fake locksmiths that still show up is beyond me) and I will patiently wait until the end of the day. I just would like to know, if it is not fixed by the end of day today as suggested, who and where to I contact?

Brucar Locksmith
355 E. Avenida de los Arboles, Suite B
Thousand Oaks, CA 91360

Can you also please send me to the link to report businesses that are listed near my location but are located over 20 miles away with no location where Google lists them?
Sincerely,, Amy

Google Places listings for "locksmiths rancho santa margarita" has been broken for months.

By broken I mean the local locksmith listings inially dropped off the first page of SERPs entirely, then returned with spammy listings - e.g. the top listing being a Limo Rental company as the A balloon, the second listing (no balloon) a robot created page with about 2000 spammy phrases ending in a crammed listing of about 50 towns and cities around the area. The B and C balloons appear further down the page, separated by non-Places listings.

Ironically, the one legitimate brick and mortar business located in Rancho Santa Margarita - in a business park in the center of town - is not shown. This locksmith had a verified Places page for about 2 years and was listed until the locksmith Places went wacky - in about December 2011 as far as I can tell.

How does this relate to this thread? Glad you asked. We discovered the "We currently do not support the location" when trying to determine what the problem with the Places page was.

The brick and mortar business is Ebels Lock & Door Company(www.locksmithdoorskeys.com). They've had their shop and offices in Rancho Santa Margarita, California for over 10 years.

1. Can you help us understand the situation?

2. Is Google working on a fix to provide quality Places results for this search?

3. Is there something companies like Ebels Lock can do to help resolve the problem?

Hi, lost all offers on places as a few others have. The contact forms you linked to are really specific to other problems though e.g. verifying listings with really specific tick boxes that are not relevant to this problem. Is there a more general contact/help form? or an email address?

@acallaway - We have an offers troubleshooter, if that's what you're looking for:

The support we offer today is through those contact forms; there's no general number to call or e-mail to write to.

I am thinking it is 5:30pst and the end of most work days?  If you agree, can we please get more assistance than:

I'm having a problem verifiying my listing(s).

These are not what the problem is, since you had said it was a bug.  My listing has correct info and I am verified.  Is there anything more relevant?  My storefront business is suffering.  Luckily we have a good reputation and are on other places on the web, but as far as a storefront, no one can find me when looking for me.  Please help.

I used this link https://groups.google.com/a/googleproductforums.com/forum/#!category-topic/business/technical-issue/OqKS72sqrzA 5 days ago & still no news. I got a one reply from an email & still no action & no further correspondence. Is there a fix on the way? if so when? if not what do we do from here? I understand there are many people in the same situation, I'm sure they are having difficulties due to this issue. An answer on when this will be fixed will help some of us put our fears to rest.

Is there any ETA on this fix?  I would like to know so that I can tell our employees when they can return to work.  They don't get paid if there is no business and we can't get business if customers can't find us.

Our address is 5915 N Vancouver Ave Portland OR, 97217

Re: Working on it: Seeing "We do not support this location"? Technical issues right now, sit tight. odogtriever 5/8/12 3:10 PM
@ Vanessa,

I have done all 4 you listed in your link. same results again. Listing is now back up but still missing some reviews and address is not accurate. Also the information is not the same as my Google places listing. I have pinged the places dozens of times.

I am wondering if the problem could be that last year I started referring to my company by the name "PC Green Machine Carpet Cleaning". The name originally was and still is on my wed page and most sites on the web" PC Green Machine". I added "Carpet Cleaning" for obvious reasons, people sometimes mistakenly thought I was a lawn care company. My business goes by both names, and is listed as PC Green Machine LLC by my city and county. Could this be a conflict that is keeping my listing from being viewed as it is edited on my places dashboard? Here is my dashboard link http://www.google.com/local/add/details?storeid=499903897526741056&mode=existing&hl=en-US&gl=US Not sure you can look at it, but this is all different information then what comes up on "maps". Videos, reviews and other information is missing. Most of the videos come from you tube published by the company that makes the equipment and cleaner I use. I have permission as a professional cleaner member from there company to use logos and videos. Any way, this is all important information that is not showing up on my maps listing http://maps.google.com/maps/place?hl=en&georestrict=input_srcid:b6fd503eb74b7ea9 . Also, I used to come up by searching key words "carpet cleaner" in the A through D range a couple of months ago. Now today the best is J, which does not even show up on the first page. Any thing after the first page is not found usually by customers. :(

Vanessa, any help would be greatly appreciated. I have lost so much business these last two months.

Thanks,
Owen

@odogtriever - I think that's a separate issue from this. Can you please submit a new request to the support team about the incorrect address?

Select: I have verified > Yes > Listing datat > Click link, fill out form, await their e-mail response

There's nothing we can do to bring those reviews back:

@Vanessa,

Thanks, lets see if this works.

Will this make my listing unavailable for a few days again? Hope not. I can't afford to have this down anymore.

Thanks again!
