I signed up for a Google Apps free account for my domain studentpulse.com. When I signed up I used the name dustin...@studentpulse.com.
After getting the domain verified and following all the sign up steps, I was able to send and receive email from dustin...@studentpulse.com. However, this user (the primary user) did NOT appear in the user list. This meant that I could not create nicknames/aliases.
So I created another user, and made that a super admin. It showed up no problem in user lists, but the original email address still did not.
Finally in frustration I decided to delete the Apps account altogether and start over. Well, I deleted the account, but now when I try and sign up again it says the account is still in use.
And get this: the dustin...@studentpulse.com email address is still accessible and says that it is associated with the "studentpulse.com" apps account -- even though I deleted this account! This is really a nightmare, what should I do?

Hi I am the admin for badjis.com and ever since google has switched to the new system I haven't been able to access the control panel and see my list. I can't even reset any email when the users ask me to. I have over a 100 users who rely on my for their email and this is not fun. I am about to just give up, especially when google does not appear to have a face to help and walk us through our problems.
I can access my admin account and that is it. I can't even sign up new users.
I am very very very frustrated with the whole thing.
It looks like there are no way of contacting Google regarding this issue. I am turning in circle trying to find out how to resolve this issue and I am not getting anywhere.
Does Anybody out there know how help ??????

you can try going to the following link (modified for your domain and user) https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/domain.com/Organization?userEmail=[email address]. If the user you tried to delete still exists there, you can delete the account from that page and then wait 5 days to recreate the user.

Because of a related issue last week, we have temporarily disabled the domain deletion mechanism. If you have marked your domain for deletion it won't be deleted for the next couple of weeks. We'll update this thread once we have enabled domain deletions again. Thanks for your patience.

It would be nice if Google disseminated information like this and actually kept users informed about what's going on instead of making us create multiple posts and replies to obtain a simple answer. For example, such information could have been provided when I tried over and over again to recreate my account, and was told over and over again that my account was still active even though I had deleted it and was unable to login.
I think part of 'not being evil' is also related to not behaving like a heedless leviathan that is literally untouchable by the 'common' man. No support phone number, no email contact, no real support system whatsoever -- just hope and pray that someone at google hq deems your post worthy of his or her time.

So my mail is gonna BOUNCE for a few WEEKS, thanks to this action by Google?
Come on Google, you can't inflict THAT on us...
(I have no other facility to do a re-direct with this particular domain now, so everyone that has been given my new email address, the mail will be bouncing until YOU decide we can remove secondary domains again.
Can you not give me any further assistance?
My primary domain is "rices dot me"
My secondary domain on it, that I wish to REMOVE, so that I can add it to a stand-alone new Google Apps account, is "rice dot me"
Please help. A couple of WEEKS, seems like an IMPOSSIBLE period of delay for something as important and significant as this.
Or would you just advise me to take it over to Microsoft instead, as taking it somewhere NEW is not a problem - only removing it FROM Google is, so I can't then take it back to Google as a new GApps Domain.
Incredible that you would implement a policy that is going to do nothing other than encourage people to take their Domain over to Microsoft, simply in order to be able to receive email for the next few weeks... Staggering...
Please help therefore Google.

This is kind of serious. I've setup my entire hosting infrastructure for clients to work with google apps email services, and have laid out a recent project to be working again after 5 days as I had to replace the primary domain with an alias - you know the drill, delete and sign up again. Given that it's free, I'm not really in the position to complain and expect help in due time. Though weird moves like this usually occur in unexperienced development teams, not at a solid company that's regularly being mystified by tales of how ludicrously impossible it is to successfully pass a job interview there. Where are all the prodigies now that are hired to specifically avoid such dilemmas?

It would be nice if Google could at least purge all domains that were marked for deletion before Google decided to temporarily disable deletion mechanism.
Also some official announcement on a blog or help pages would be nice, because not everybody have time to search this group to find information as answer in a discussion. No disrespect to Advisor Ricky, but I'm very disappointed by Google's unprofessional behavior on that matter.

That would be nice, but I'm guessing the reason they have suspended delete transactions is that there is a unwelcome flaw in the mechanism that either (a) has a nasty impact under certain circumstances or (b) is not fully secure in accepting purge jobs on to the queue. Pure speculation both of these and im frustrated as well.

Did they fix it, or has it just been over 2 weeks since you guys deleted them and they've automatically gone out of the system? The Advisor's post is unclear on which is the case - no deletions at all, or deletions taking twice as long.
I deleted a couple about 10 days ago, with the intention of incorporating them all under one account instead of a separate one for each as I had before. I haven't been able to add them back yet. If I'd realized there was an issue, I wouldn't have bothered.

I've come to the forum looking for help with the admin functions of my domain. All my email adresses are showing as 'managed by' even though i'm logged into what has always been, the admin account for the given domain. I manage several domains and all are showing this malfunction. Wondering if the root of my problem is going to be same as what's being discussed in this thread?

I need to delete my domain from google apps since google is not delivering email to the non-gmail email server, despite a correct DNS entry. Google obviously is not using the public DNS but bypassing it for domains that were originally configured for google apps. This is frustrating and I really need for google apps to release the domain name.

I had the same problem with my domain (where the administrator account did not show up as an e-mail account under "Organization and users" but did show up as an e-mail account under "Settings->Email"). I have been thinking about deleting the apps account and starting over. Will that fix the problem? And how soon until I'm able to re-add the account?

I was able to delete an account tonight. Does that mean deletions are not in limbo anymore?
Or does that mean I'm going to have to wait a long time (more than 5 days?) before I can re-add the apps account?
(I was having the same problem as above -- where the administrator e-mail account was hidden from use -- and so I hoped deleting would fix the problem)

I am unable to sign into my app. Nothing has changed. My domain is Kakiadesigns.com when I try to log in (repeatedly changed password but I knew it!) it says this: "These characters are not allowed@" But I am not using those characters. I need to point my DNS to a different hosting service. But so far, it seems Google doesn't want me to. Anyone else? I did post this elsewhere but this forum is closest to my frustration level.

Your problem is different. And does not related with this topic. Here the topic is on Delete Domain Name.
However, you have two problem
1. Log In.
2. DNS Change.
1. Are you typing your User ID / Login ID correctly? There may be problem in User ID or Login ID and not only in Password.
2. If you already have the DNS in your earlier hosting then probably you can change the DNS MX record, TXT or other domain verification record by coping from earlier hosting to new hosting.
If you need more explanation, please explain your problems in details with print screen shot.

I am the admin of bharatthread.com domain. I am trying to add an alias 'bta.net.in', but it was associated with another account. i have deleted that account on 6th Feb, but I am still not able to add bta.net.in as of today. I'm having the same problem. I've deleted my account(jurgenverhoeven.be) on 3th Feb, but I still can't make a new one.
When I try to login, Google says this domain doesn't exist for Google Apps. And when I try to make an account for it, I get the message I already have an account for that domain.

I deleted my Google Apps account for smithabode.com about six days ago, and I want to add it as an alias domain to another Google Apps account, but I still get the error "This domain name has already been used as an alias or domain." I want to manage both domains in one account and avoid consuming Google email disk space for two domains just to forward email from smithabode.com to my primary domain.
Now I see in this discussion group that Google has temporarily disabled the domain deletion mechanism.
Can someone from Google please manually complete the deletion of the smithabode.com account so I can add it to my other Google Apps account as an alias domain and start receiving email again?

It appears the deletion mechanism is not working after all because it has been seven days since I deleted my Google Apps account for domain smithabode.com, and I still cannot add it to my primary Google Apps account as an alias for my primary domain. Can you please delete it now?

Created google apps account for wmpky.com.
Deleted apps account on 2/5/12.
Still can't add this domain as domain alias to primary google apps account.

I have two domains that need to have mail in the next week at most, I have been telling the person that they will get it soon, but that was over 2 weeks ago. I accidentally created them there own accounts then realized I should have put them under mine. If I can't get this in the next week I will have to put them on a Smarter Mail system and forgo the google apps idea.

The problem is somebody("fake" domain owner) already registered it and it's currently in in the process of ownership verification.
According to Google's Policy if the domain has not been verified within 7-14 days, the records will be removed, but we still cannot sign up for Google Apps. We do not know the person who signed up this domain for Google Apps. And Google Apps has not remove the records. Thus we cannot sign up.

I was able to add my domain back as an alias today.
So for those wondering, looks like it's around two weeks for the domain to be fully deleted.
Although it could have been ready sooner; I was waiting for an update in this thread about it, and hadn't seen anything saying the issue was fixed, but I figured I'd give it another try today.

I also have the same problem. I tried to combine two of my Google app accounts into one.
I deleted mistry.at, so that I could add it to forty2.tv, this was a few weeks ago, however when I now try to add mistry.at to my other domain it just says this domain is already in use.
Could you advise how I can manually delete mistry.at from google app so I can add it to my other account

One problem solved, another problem created!
The deletion of my wmpky.com google apps account finally happened,
While I am very grateful to whomever finally deleted the google apps account, a new problem has surfaced.
Problem is now, while I can send out via wmpky.com with no issue, any message sent to the @wmpky.com address is getting rejected as follows:
"550 550-5.1.1 The email account that you tried to reach does not exist."
This has to be from the earlier deletion of wmpky.com, correct?

At I created an Google Apps account for bewellup.cc then I realized that this was the wrong domain.
So I added burbach.cc as alias but did not complete the verification for the alias.
I then decided to delete this account to create a new one for burbach.cc. (2/17/2012)
Since then (9 days) I get the error message:
This domain has been registered and is in the process of ownership verification. If you believe this registration was unauthorized, see our Signup Troubleshooter to help guide in troubleshooting this issue.
Can you please release the domain burbach.cc.

Still can't send TO my @wmpky.com alias address.
The address sends FROM with no issues.
But as soon as I hit reply and then send TO, google serves up the following:

The problem has to be coming from some server in Google "hanging on" to the fact that I deleted the google apps account associated with wmpky.com, correct?

When there is no email box for that domain the mail will bounce just like if you send a letter to wrong address in Postal Mail it get sent back to you.email works same way when it can not find that email address it get sent back to you.

I'm seeing that you said this would be off "a couple weeks" more than a month and a half ago. Have this issue been resolved? Is the auto-delete still not functioning? I am trying to create a google apps for education account and, I gotta tell you, this situation (both the problem with not being able to register a previously deleted domain, coupled with the inability to get support) is not exactly building my confidence in google apps as a service that I want to entrust with my staff and students' e-communications needs. Please, if anyone can tell me where to go to get this issue resolved so that I can can actually create an account and register my domain (www.hjuhsd.k12.ca.us), it would be greatly appreciated.

We are having a similar issue with trying to create the account rardinconstruction.com.
We created the account for our client and they failed to provide us with DNS information so that we could verify their account. Now that we have the information we are unable to login to the account to verify it (Does not appear to exist) and we are unable to register it again because it claims to be waiting for verification. This has been occurring for almost a week, so I believe it should be outside the autopurge range by now. Could you please delete or purge the account so that we can register it.

Can you bloomboard.com to your list?
We had an issue where we everytime we try to add bloomboard.com as secondary domain to formativelearning.com at https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/formativelearning.com/DomainAddAlias, it responds with This domain name has already been used as an alias or domain.
We however have not used it as a domain, as there are no other instances of it in the list at https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/formativelearning.com/DomainSettingsDomains. We had added it earlier, and deleted it, so I'm guessing us trying to re-add it may have screwed up something.
Another potential reason for this happening is we originally thought we should create a completely new google apps account for this bloomboard.com address, and when we decided against it, we deleted that.
Please handle this as soon as possible, as we are due for a rebranding event and we need to have this setup before the end of this week.

We have a temporary fix that has already automatically purged many deleted domains, and we are working on a permanent fix to restore the original functionality.
If you still cannot reuse your domain a week after you deleted it, please continue to post it on this thread.

It's been a few weeks since I deleted the domain, and it still hasnt been purged ( I can neither log into it or re sign up)

Your .tv domain is an Domain alias and not a Primary so you need to remove it from your other account if you want to sign up that domain.

I cant access my domain management page.
Domain is: probonoaustralia.com.au
it takes me to the Try Google Apps for Business for free page, which I am happy to do (upgrade to the business free trial from the standard free trial) but the registration process never works. No matter how many times I try.
If I cant do the business trial then I would at least want to be able to continue with my standard trial.
Please please help!!!

If the trial is this glitchy I question whether switchin to apps is a good idea at all!

You need to wait 14 days. I've added it, but if the verification hasn't expired and it's not due for removal, it won't be.

Actually that is my problem. I never registered it to any other account. I believe that perhaps the previous owner of myvids.tv had it as an alias to one of his other accounts, and then when the domain expired, he never removed it. So now that I have registered it, I have no way of ever registering the domain with google apps even though I am the owner.
I have scoured the forums for an answer but am having trouble finding the exact steps I need to take in order to reclaim the ability to register the domain to my own google apps account, other than to contact support and have someone intervene, which is why I'm posting here as I'd much prefer following some procedure or process for verifying the domain in my unique case.

Your suspicions are correct. The domain isn't a primary. It may have been an alias/secondary and perhaps orphaned if the primary was deleted. Following up to see if it can sorted. Normally you'd claim ownership in this situation. Have you tried this?

I'm not sure what you mean by claim ownership. I have tried going into one of my other google apps accounts and tried to add myvids.tv as a domain alias but it gives me an error saying that the domain has already been registered.
I've also tried to change the password as many other posts have suggested, but I can't get to the screen to change the password because it isn't the primary domain.
I've tried searching for various ways to claim ownership of a "stuck" domain alias, but they all talk about verifying it once you are in your google apps account and the domain has been released and is available to be added and verified.
Is there some process I'm missing?

The flow recently changed, so I'll need to find out. But it was previously possible via a support form/request. Prinmary domains are handled via the change password request, but obviously that doesn't work with aliases.

We have recently had a client request us to setup Google Apps for them, when i try and sign them up i get the "this domain is already registered and in the process of ownership verification" error.
When I try and reach the control panel so that i can reset the password i receive a "sorry you have reached a login page for a domain that isnt using Google Apps" error.
The client originally tried to set it up themselves but didnt complete and never verified the domain, this was a long time back and it should have reset by now but hasnt.
I would really appreciate some feedback on this.

Sir LMckin51, thx for manual delete my domain, but after re-sign up, my hosting still cannot working it's say about mx or some thing so I disable it again, I dont know what's wrong with my domain, please delete clearly it(empty all the data and history) so I can sign up it from a fresh register.

Hi guys, we now have an automated process in place that will purge deleted domains, so you should no longer have to request manual deletion. Please give it a week after deleting your domain. As always, let us know if your domain is still not re-useable after waiting 7 days.

The limit was reduced to 10 users about 12 months ago. April 2011 if I recall. Any new registrations created after that date are limited to 10 users.

Unfortunately if you closed/deleted your account, you're subject to the new limits, since April 2011.

You have to do that yourself. More difficult that it used to be - click on the envelop icon top right to "cancel email updates".

Does this mean that if we scheduled our domain for manual deletion on the March 6th we have to wait 7 days from March 6th or will it still be purged in 24-48 hours using manual deletion? My domain blazesalon.com was scheduled for manual deletion, it's coming up on 48 hours now, and it still hasn't been deleted. I need to know this because 7 days is way too long to wait as the client relies on email for business and has been without it for two days already. We will need to find an alternative solution if it isn't up by the end of the day.

Anything after March 6 will have to wait the 7 days for the automatic domain delete to remove the domain and anything Before March 6 was Manual Deleted.

I know about that - but I am not sure what is happening since I have never registered iskorak.hr for main domain in google aps rather as secondary domain on iskorak.org account. Later I have deleted the domain from iskorak.org account and since then I cannot re-register domain iskorak.hr separately from iskorak.org neither as secondary domain on iskorak.org.
When I try to reset the password on iskorak.hr I get:
This domain is not yet setup.
You have tried to access a domain that has no administrator account. To complete your sign-up for Google Apps, you will need to click on the set-up URL provided in your confirmation email. If you would like us to re-send the confirmation email, click here.
When I click on "click here" to re-send the confirmation email I get 404.

if you deleted that account how come i`m able to do a password reset ?
We have emailed instructions on resetting your password to your backup secondary address, which ends in: gmail.com.
If you can't access the secondary address, you can create a CNAME record to verify that you own the domain name.

Hi, I am having some issues with a new domain (runara dot com) that was added to under (webofadvertising dot com) about 3 months ago. I deleted runara dot com 2 months ago and I still cannot set this domain up. I go through the steps of resetting the admin password then it take me to a page and states this domain does not have an administrator account setup. What steps do I need to take to have runara dot com purged from the database. Any help would be appreciated.

Sign into your Google apps control panel and then click ORG/USERs Tab and then click Service then scroll down past the yellow box then enable the webmaster tools.

I was part of another thread who had the same issues and someone gave me this link. I read all issues,and except for someone doing a manual delete, it doesn't seem like the consumer has any option but to wait.
and waiting is what i've done for the past 2 months...
I had the same deletion issues 2 months ago. finally someone on one of these treads said they manually deleted my domain: www.worklifecolorado.org. i was able to re-sign for the approved google free edition for nonprofits. HOWEVER, for over a month, I've been in the 'reviewing' stage of the google apps. I emailed the googlefornonprofits people and they responded with this:
Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience..
We see that your domain (worklifecolorado.org) is still at the Business edition in the Suspended state..
This should been deleted within 4 days after you opted to delete/downgrade to the Free edition.
However, as an approval team, we are unable to resolve other Google Apps queries, so we would request you to contact the support team by any of the methods outlined at http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/static.py?page=contacting_support.html
Alternatively, you may also visit the Google Apps Help Forum at http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Apps to discuss Google Apps with other admins.

I deleted the domain lwvc.co.uk weeks ago and still cannot sign up for a new account. Interestingly I still get a login at www.google.com/a/lwvc.co.uk but it says:
Sign in to manage
which leads me to believe that the account has been (partially) deleted.
Can you please manually delete this domain if the option is still available?

I know, I applied for deletion of the account over 2 weeks ago. I cannot login using any details, if I try to reset password it says the account is cancelled. Note how it also says 'Sign in to manage
