i am a paying google customer who uses nearly all of googles products. my account has been disabled. i have not been given a reason. i have not been given anyone to talk to about it. i am furious! someone needs to contact me asap! i am asked for my pin number when i call in or email but how the hell am i supposed to get my pin number if i cannot access my account?!!!! this experience has RUINED google for me and for my business permanently! this is outrageous! YOU CANNOT OFFER A PRODUCT AND TAKE MONEY FOR IT AND NOT OFFER CUSTOMER SUPPORT! this is some sort of kafkaesque bs that i would expect from steve jobs and his inazis! PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP AND RESTORE MY ACCOUNT! YOU HAVE BROKEN MY MODE OF COMMUNICATION BOTH PROFESSIONALLY AND PERSONALLY AND YOU NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT!!! i have had hotmail aol compuserve and yahoo accounts over the past 15 years and i have NEVER had an account disabled. this is an insult to your customers and the most unprofessional i have ever seen a company behave!

- For what you are paying Google? Additional space? Gmail does not provide live support. If you are getting the error message "Account disabled", you should be given the procedure too in the same page!

As TITO said, you should be given instruction if 'blocked for NO reason'. Google will never block you 'for no reason'. There's always a reason.

We can't manage any help from Google now (Saturday, Sunday holidays).. Best way will be fill the form and wait for answer.
You can try to get some help from Google Apps Help too.

those are of no help. i am unable to log into any google product from anywhere. they're not just blocking y domain. my domain went down alongside all my other google products when google disabled my account.
and yes as far as i can tell they are locking me out for no reason. if they think my gmail account was compromised they should notify me and tell me to reset my password. that is why i provided the alternate email address. i'm not mad about them locking me out. i'm mad about them not responding and enabling it. if they are going to lock people out of their accounts whenever they choose then they also need to have an easy way for me to get back in, like notifying me at my alternate email address. if i was just locked out and then i had to go through a procedure to gain access that's fine. but this is the second day google is ruining my life for NO reason and this is completely unacceptable behavior for a company that has 60% of the internet depending on them.

THIS, THIS IS MY POINT!
google cannot run 7 day/week services and not offer support 7 days a week if they are going to heedlessly close peoples accounts!
i have no access to email, google voice, docs, reader or anything else. there is no reason they should be blocking my access to everything and there is no reason they couldn't have notified me. they are running the largest company and have billions of dollars. any other stock that trades at the level of google offers 24/7 support. plain and simple!
and like i said in my original post: how am i supposed to contact google apps when they require a pin to get through their automated phone system AND I CAN'T ACCESS MY ACCOUNT TO GET THE PIN?!!

are you telling me that no one anywhere in google works on the weekends???

This is a user to user help forum and no one from Google is reading your posts! I can try to contact Google on this (using my Top Contributorship privileges), but, I can't do anything before Monday.
That's why I asked to check apps (I am not fully aware of paid apps account support options)

Thank you. But how am I supposed to contact apps support? Like I keep saying: they require your pin from your apps dashboard. Which I can't access! Is this company really as stupid as to say "having trouble accessing your account? Well just log in to contact us about it." that is essentially what they are telling me.

They don't offer ANY emergency or weekend support for their customers? They advertise that they have a 24/7 hotline I can call. There's really no one else to talk to?!

You are asking this question in Gmail Help Forum, which is a free service and there is no live support for Gmail. If you are a paid customer of apps and you have some phone number etc for 24*7 support, follow that!

I appreciate your help and I want you to keep helping and contact whoever you can. But I keep telling you: I CANNOT call them on the help line. They ask for my Cs and support pin which is only available if I am logged into my account. Which is what I can't do! And there is no way around the automated system if I don't have that!


Please notify someone from Google if you are able to. This is really causing me alot of problems.

Why would you do that? I already said I had a question in the apps thread abou contacting them. I want this in the gmail thread because I'm assuming they disabled my account due to think my email has been hacked. This absolutely ridiculous that I am still having to deal with this three days in!

Are you using Google apps for your domain  ie: mydomain.com or a Gmail.com account the reason i ask is reviewing your original post you said don`t have access to your pin number. and Google apps only Google product that has pay service.


i`ll give you couple reason that your account could get disable.

1. a  Terms of Service issue. or  2.  you was on a free trial of Business edition and then your free trial ended and your account is lock  have you try sign into your Google apps control panel.

I originally signed up for a gmail account. I then purchased my domain through blogger for my blog site and I received one year of google apps. But for the last time: I CANNOT SIGN INTO ANYTHING. I really do appreciate you trying to help but I keep telling people the same thing. I cannot sign into any google product. Period. My account has been disabled. I absolutely did NOT violate any terms of service. I am 100% certain of this. I fully believe this is a combination of google's crappy support for both apps and google+ which is causing technical problems with my account. I don't want to be on google apps. I've read about it and it seems like everyone's problems stem from being on google apps accounts.

I NEED TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE AT GOOGLE ABOUT THIS TODAY!!!! I live in NYC and if I don't hear from someone today I am going into googles office in the morning and screaming at them like you have never heard someone scream! This is completely outageous that you close my account and the take the weekend off and leave me completely SCREWED! and with no way to turn my account back on!

There is no issue with Google apps account  but if you sign up for Google Plus and if you enter the wrong birthday date then that will cause your account be disable also.

You need to provide the domain and  the user name for any Advisors . who should see this thread and will need that information to check your account before they will reply.

I can see there is a misunderstanding with what you have paid for, verses your expectations and I can appreciate it not all that obvious in your situation.

I'm assuming (from your posts) you have taken up the "custom domain option" with Blogger. This offer is a Free Google Apps Account (10 User - Standard edition), with the $10 US domain registration via GoDaddy or eNom. Google facilitates discounted domain registration and hosting with the third party providers to make it cheaper and much easier for users to get setup with Google Apps. The payment is completely optional for Google Apps, but it's necessary to have a domain registered to use GA.

The point I'm getting to here is that the Standard Edition of Google Apps, doesn't come with paid telephone/priority support. Due to low cost (Free), it's not feasible to offer priority/dedicated support, but Google offers many avenues for user to help them self.  Alternative support options are this forum.  This forum tries to fill the free support gap and where it's beyond the volunteers capabilities, we can alert Google Advisors to particular threads. This doesn't guarantee it will be addressed or looked at, but in the vast majority of cases they are.

By nature the  free support has it limits. There's no such thing as a free lunch.  Making demands or being obtuse / uncooperative to people who are offering their time for free to help with your issues, isn't productive to your cause and will probably result in people choosing to help others first.

After this, you may choose to go a different path than Blogger/ GA. Regardless I strongly recommend you invest more than $10 in your online presence if it's critical to your (business) needs. The Business edition of Google Apps is only $50USD per year. It includes many more features and most importantly paid support and a hotline you can call in these situations.

Another TC has notified the Google Advisors of this thread. This guarantees they will see it, but it doesn't imply ETR ir any action will be taken but the chances are better than good.

To enable faster support, you'll need to quote your Google Apps Domain and the mail account/login names(s) affected.

thank you. and yes, that is what i believe is going on here regarding my apps account.

but let me be clear: i am not intending to be rude to anyone. i have been asked the same questions over and over again and told to do things that require me to log into my account when the title of this post clearly states that i cannot log into my account. i apologize if i have been rude. but i am going absolutely crazy trying to deal with this and the other problems it is causing when i am certain that my account has been disabled by mistake and i am given no recourse for action.

and regarding that, all of the other email services are free as well, and none of them ask for anywhere near the amount of personal information to be tied to the account required to use them. given the amount of personal information and trust expected of a user, and given the fact that docs and calendar have virtually monopolized their sector of the internet, it would not be asking much of google to provide some sort of support, whether online or otherwise, to their non-paying, yes even their non-paying customers. we are building their brand and it is via their marketing to us that they have made their billions of dollars. i don't care if gmail is free. just because it's free doesn't mean that they can't treat people like garbage. i have been asked many times by hotmail etc. to verify my identity through many different ways. all google needed to do, if they thought my account was compromised, would be to email at the alternate email address i provided at sign up and tell me to change my password. or even to give me a speedy way to recover my account. i have copious amounts of information locked into that account which is currently inaccessible for reasons i am not told. do not act like this is normal behavior for a company that holds the market share that google does, whether i am using free products or not. we are all part of the orbit within the google universe and they have a responsibility to their customers that they are getting away with shucking by saying "hey it's free, you get what you pay for pal!" i understand that they can't provide help for every little thing, and that user moderated forums make sense in a lot of situations. but not in this one or any other where an account is suspended and requires action beyond users control. i am going on 5 days now of being put out of operation in my personal and professional and school life because google decided to pull the plug on my account. that is unacceptable behavior from any company who controls as much of the internet as google does.

again, i appreciate your help and i am not intending to be rude. but i am very, very angry and very, very frustrated right now and i don't have any patience for someone telling me that i did something to get my account disabled or that i need to just wait and hope that the powers that be will bless me with re-enabling my account as if it's a gift from them to me. i have brought google much new business and i have endorsed them a great deal with my company and co-workers. hell i even own google stock. for them to treat someone like this is totally irresponsible and uncalled for. i'm not frantically posting asking how to enable emoticons in my email signatures, i'm posting because my online identity has been hijacked by google and there is no one for me to talk to about this and i am being told nothing. my banking info, my business info, my personal info is all in limbo. and anyone who emails me is being told that my email address doesn't exist. how about you have that happen to you while in the process of applying for grad school, and we'll see how much patience you have with google. i am absolutely livid right now. again, i apologize if i have been rude, but this is intolerable.

thanks for the help. i cannot log into my ga account via that or any other page. but to be clear, i don't recall having ever logged in or setting up an admin user name. i don't doubt that i did, but i don't remember doing it. i did try all of the user names that i would normally use, and none of them worked. and i definitely would have used one of them if i had been asked for a user name.

Based on your response I think you've got two issues here. GA Services and your separate Gmail account. Importantly the Gmail account being disabled is independent of your issue with GA services. GA hasn't been fully setup, but hasn't been needed, other than the domain rego, so it''s not a problem.

I'm not 100% sure if the GA Advisors here are able to assist with the Disabled Gmail account (It's really a separate product), but I'm sure there's something that can be done.
