Google Apps' XMPP network is not refreshing for my domain JC John Sese Cuneta 10/14/11 9:28 PM
Domain Name: laibcoms.com && jcsesecuneta.com
Edition: Free
Affected Username/s: whole domain name
Issue Description:
I turned-off  the XMPP / Google Chat service for my domain laibcoms.com/jcsesecuneta.com and moved to hosted.im.  It has been almost a week since and my domain still can not connect/contact those in the @gmail.com network.

If any, I would like to request a flush of my records on your Google XMPP network.

Thank you.2011-11-10

It's 10/22/2011 already and Google Apps still haven't removed my domain from it's Google Chat network, I still can't add anyone from the Gmail-XMPP cluster. :/

Quoting my XMPP host:

--start-of-quote--

We had the same problem you described with other customers.  The causes were always the same: both Google Apps and hosted.IM have a local and remote routing.  If a user from GApps sends packets to another on GApps, the route is located without asking any DNS on the Internet, because it is found locally.

The same happens with hosted.IM: it first looks if the domain is hosted locally, if not, it issues a query to the Internet to define the packet route.  Of course, there is no "google.com" domain hosted by hosted.IM and your DNS records are correctly defined, so the only option is that Google is keeping your old domain on its "local routes".

--end-of-quote--

I have waited for 2 weeks already, and still your Chat/XMPP servers is still retaining my domain name jcsesecuneta.com.  I turned the Chat service that long already (3 to 4 weeks).  Still nothing.

My XMPP host is ProcessOne, the developers of the eJabberd server, which I'm sure you are very familiar with as they are one of the longest running XMPP server/developer.

I'm having the exact same issue. I'm running my own hosting (Linode box) with the latest ejabberd and am receiving the error indicating that my domain is a 'Google Apps' domain. Chat has been disabled and uninstalled on my domain for two days yet it still isn't working (same error).

My friend works by google as a developer and we have the same problem with our jabber server.
We have send him some screenshots from my google account and some logfiles. He also think is a

Is there really no fix so far? I can't wait for Google to fix the bug.

Hello again,

good news for all :) Our ticked is closed and solved.
It was really an internal bug by google in a deinstall step.

Do the following steps,
Logon to your account and install gtalk.
then deinstall gtalk again and wait 10-30mins.

Its really works now :)
