Differences in Estimated versus Finalized YouTube Earnings AdSense in English 5/17/13 2:44 PM

Hi YouTube Publishers,

Estimated earnings, which are used in your YouTube Analytics reports, typically reflect close estimates of your recent account activity, but do not necessarily reflect the amount you will be paid. Finalized earnings are accurate earnings amounts that include all revenue you will be paid for valid clicks. Once our records are processed and verified at the end of each month, finalized earnings are posted to your AdSense account.

If you’re seeing a significant difference between your reporting estimates and your finalized earnings, it’s possible that your account has been receiving a high percentage of invalid clicks and/or impressions.

We recommend investigating any traffic sources you’ve had over the last 90 day period using your YouTube Analytics reports.  Take a close look at all traffic sources and investigate any unusual increase in a particular source from another country, website, etc. If you identify suspicious sources of traffic notify us with your findings

Lastly, we’d also recommend reading through our Ad Traffic Quality Resource Center
